In the late 70's, their was also a Lion Country Safari in southern California. From the tram ride at one point, you could see an island that had rats that were over 2 ft tall standing and walking on two feet. They told us that they were being breed as a future food source. It was terrifying as a young child all the way until today for me..
Irvine! I went there many times as a little girl. Frasier the Lion was buried on the mountain above it, with the big cross, and I remember a hippo getting out and roaming the 5 freeway. Then Irvine Meadows was built, and I went to so many concerts there. Okay, I just realized that I’ve outlived Lion Country Safari, and Irvine Meadows. Now I feel ancient! 😂

As a beekeeper I recommend not swatting your hand around if you see a bee by you......most of the time bee's are just checking you out because you're either wearing bright clothing or you are close to their hive. I have been stung more times by swatting than by just calmly walking away.....extremely hard to do I know 😂. Also, if you're wearing a cologne or perfume you may draw them to you if there is a dearth (no nectar flow) & in that case I would recommend not being outside til it disapates or you aren't wearing a fragrance. Just some advice that I've learned as a beekeeper. 😊
