    Thank you for sharing.
I am absolutely in love with this off-road solution called IvEcO. For years I have been looking for a 4x4. But nowadays 4x4 they made it for ladies to drive arround the town.
I woudl like to ask what is a fuel consumption on the highway? (eco, normal and power mode if it has)
I woudl be hoping to have numbers for 2.3l version.
In advance many thanks for your reply.

@@4WDTV it is not polite not to reply to question.
I see all you are interested is that we watch your episodes so your ratings goes up and cash your revenue.
      Dissapointed.
      Nothing personal business as usual.

wow, that is very aggressive for a simple oversight. We apologise if we missed your final paragraph, we have replied to over 200 comments in the past few days and it is certainly not our main job. In fact we are well known and highly regarded to personally replying to every message. Just like we have here twice now. Anyway, the Iveco does not have a power mode and it typically gets around 25L per 100km when towing 😁 we only have the 3 litre turbo diesel@@TemploDelFilo

I am sorry for truthfull reply which sounded agresive. I see your point having succesfull TH-cam TV and trying to do blogging or forum conversation on YT it is a challenge....I accept the apology for "oversight"... 25liters / 100km when towing...ok 3litres motor on highway not towing not fully loades 5 passengers with 100kg of luggage cuising at 80, 90 , 100 or 120 km/h...just putting the numbers to precis reply if reply.
In advance is a pleasure to speak with you guyts @@4WDTV

this must be the hardest working 4x4 media tv show for the past decade and longer which has been bogged in time. You could actually say Simon started 4x4 filming in Aus and Getting it into tv market in Australia. And after watching this, Simon needs to evolve footage and editing.

haha, many ways to take that...well thank you...we were the first in the world 17 years ago with a dedicated 4x4 and off road show supporting our community and industry. This is actually quite an old episode an d there is plenty of newer stuff to watch.

Um, have you heard of the Leyland brothers?
Ask the Leyland Brothers was an Australian television show that screened between 1976 and 1980, covering 153 episodes. The series followed the Leyland brothers, Mike and Mal, who traveled across Australia and New Zealand in response to questions posed by viewers.

@@WDMTAdventures haha of course! Inspirational and we loved every episode. They focussed on outback adventures. We were the first show to focus on the industry and community - day trips, weekends, club activities, charity work, industry events, products, off road motorsport, international trips, events and competitions plus a lot more...and we still also cover outback and remote touring. So our focus is on the community and the industry and up until we started around 17 years ago, there was no one doing what we have done to support the community. But don't forget Malcolm Douglas and Albey Mangles...also huge inspirational pioneers of outback travel on TV.

what do you do with auto gear boxes when you encounter steep hills? Unless equipped with HDC, older autos don't have this and is a precarious because braking will cause lock and slip, without, the torque converter will drive down at speed! Here in NSW No one can install those lock up kits either.

Even older autos can be locked into 1st gear but it's generally not enough so it comes down to feathering the brakes. Definitely can't jam on the brakes. Torque converter lock up switches are quite common though.

It really really amazes me that people who own and work in the 4x4 industry have never been 4x4 driving in the bush and camping ?????? Now I know why when talking to them I think to myself " You got no idea what your talking about ". And they own four wheel drives 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔

What happened to your rig? Is it because EVA no longer associated with Iveco?

    • @4WDTV
      @4WDTV  3 ปีที่แล้ว

hahaha, it's so funny how things get interpreted. This episode is around three years old now and was before we got our new Iveco with the EVA tray...which we still have and will be driving this weekend at Dargo.
