+Hauntor, The Giraffe Biscuit It actually opens up a second level to the map by opening the green door in the middle of the map. Sadly, they reset every round and some expect rocket-jumping capability to actually get ahold of, so you wouldn't be able to pull it off in Gmod outside of Sandbox.
+PandoraWolf S.Agent above has it exactly right. I think I may show it just because it's pretty cool but in Gmod you'd have to either be in Sandbox mode where you're free to build platforms up to some of the presents, or you'd have to no-clip fly around and collect them. But if you're no-clipping you may as well not waste your time with the presents and just fly over to the other map and check it out.
Thats a shame. Would have been fun in hide and seek chasing all the presents to get to a new area to kinda screw over with the seeker(s).

+The Fan Blower it's just because for a "split nano second" the ingame camera is going right in delirious' face because the garage door is blocking the view, because the game is scripted so that you always see your character, no matter from how close.
