Lovely video. We are planning to visit Jaisalmer in January. Your video has given some good ideas for places to visit. For the first time visitors - which sand dunes would your recommend? Sam or Khuri? What are the pros and cons?
Thankyou Jai. If you like crowded places and more activities then Sam is better as its more popular, and if you like quiet places then Khuri is better option.
@@TheWanderingPahadi Thanks. I would definitely prefer a quieter place but I read somewhere that the dunes in Sam are bigger and better. Is that true? Where would you go if you were to go again?
@@JaiRawat Yes, they are bigger but not untouched, if u have 2 nights, u can spend one in Sam and one in Khuri. Sam also has better dune bashing activities, for first time, u can try Sam.
I didnt find any insects as such. Tents are usually clean and depends on the cost you are paying. Expensive ones will be really good and some are heated also
Hi The Wandering Pahadi, First of all very nice video and nicely made keep up this good work !! I am going to Jaisalmer mid of November first time. I am confused over Khuri Sand Dune or Sam Sand dune Over youtube, when I see about Khuri I see cleanliness, natural dunes and quietness. when I see about Sam I see more activities, more people and dunes which are filled up with peoples, Jeeps. I have 2 kids with me ( 9 years old daughter and 4 years son). Can you please suggest me from Kids point of view which place they would prefer Khuri or Sam? personally me and my wife loves quite place and natural beauty.
Thankyou Himanshu. You have answered the question yourself. For kids, they may like SAM due to activities. If you have 2 nights, stay in both places if you can. Roads are good and wont take more than 1-2hours to reach SAM to khuri.
Hi Mam we are planning to visit jaisalmer around 22 dec this year, we have child around 6 mont old which san dues should we prefer in that case SAM or Khuri? We like less crowd but don't want to miss better place in case SAM dunes are better than Khuri. Also any Desert camp sugestions other than mentioned in videos. Thanks in advance
Dunes are similar in both, sam can be bigger but all bashed because of the crowd. I doubt you will find untouched sand dunes in SAM but it will offer more activities than Khuri. if you have 2 days, spend 1 day each in SAM n Khuri

Hi Avneet, Last year Dec 2020.
@@TheWanderingPahadi thanks for replying. Was it foggy on the waym
Nope, not really. We drove from Bikaner to Jaisalmer and during the day it was bright and sunny.
@@TheWanderingPahadi thanks again ❤️
Can we rent a car in Jaisalmer for self drive?
I doubt, jaisalmer within city is 7kms, u can explore on foot.
@@TheWanderingPahadi but longerwala war museum is too far from jaisalmer wt would be the best transportation to reach over there?
You can hire taxi for Longewala and Tanot mata.
@@TheWanderingPahadi how much they will cost for that?
@@spunker811 should be around 2000 rupees depending on how many tourists are there.
You look like a star in videos .. perfect voice modulation and confident video
Thankyou Shikha😇
