Assalamu alaikum. Masha Allah, nice work and effort from all donors and involved ones. I have one comment, though, on the Zakat and Fitra. I understand that the compulsory form of sadaqah (zakat and fitra) cannot be used for Masajid. The compulsory sadaqah can only be given to the eight categories, as mentioned in the Quran. Allah swt knows best.

Liked the video and also the thinking of you and Rubiji. The mosque is very beautiful MashaAllah but one thing I did not understand that how can one donate sadqa and zakat towards masjid. For masjid you only give khairaat just for Allah. Zakat is given only to the poor and needy. And looking at the lifestyle in that country I dont think zakat is needed there. One cannot give zakat towards building of mosque. Pls anyone can correct me if I am wrong.
