I can't pinpoint a single fact in your video that was the deciding one, but for the first time ever I reached my goal this season after watching your video. Not Gold yet, but we need goals for the future. I guess something about the right mindset stuck with me, because this time I could come back from the losses easily. And you convinced me to add 430U and 50M to my onslaught rotation, although I didn't play more than 50 games in random with them and still was a bit shaky with them. But you were absolutely right regarding their performance in the ht dominated lower tiers. So thanks for that. After many hours of causually watching your awesome content from now on I'm not gonna miss the new videos anymore. xD
One of the best reasons to play lights is that they are really good at "risk reduction". I got to Champion this season playing mainly RHM and E-50M but even though my E-50M had a 55% winrate, it earned 20% fewer points per battle than my RHM at 49% winrate. Lights are definitely hard to play well, I'm still not a master at them. Personally I wouldn't recommend the e-50m if you intend on using it like a heavy, later on in my games I found myself switching to the 277 just for turret armor. Even in Onslaught I still hated the 60TP. B-C 25t I would consider playing more next season, it feels really nice although does a similar job of the RHM on open maps (they work well together). I've had some games I know I threw either from a yolo, or using the plane on the wrong target, still kicking myself lol. I am liking current rule of Onslaught much better compared to previous HP percentage boost seasons. Most tanks are pretty much usable now as long as you can play them well (unlike previously where you are pretty much going uphill if you are not playing heavies on most of the maps) I am only playing for weekly and I still close to get to Gold. Was not aiming to get it, but since it's close I guess I can try to get it next week.
It is the last few years of WOT in a pill, watch all CCs - to have scores like this, you play only for yourself - it stopped to be a team game a long time ago 😂
By doing the maximum amount of damage and kills they can, how can they not be helping their team? You don't have to be side by side to your fellow tanks to help them.
I'm f2p player and actually i never thought of changing my standard kits (med, repair kit and fire d.) That tip for having one repair and 2nd for emergency is what rocketed me to silver! Thank you, you are the man!

Really appreciate your attention to mentality and emotional control. Especially on NA server, the culture is quite negative overall. Small missed shots, misplays, team idiosyncrasies make me personally noticeably upset. My own behavior seems to reflect the greater culture at large. After watching this, I'm going to make more of an effort to improve the player-to-player interactions I have. Great work.
Wish we had this at the beginning of the onslaught season. I had to learn much of these lessons the hard way. This is one great video... Love the varied map explanations.
There are more heavies at lower ranks because having more than 1 medium on your team means you have something like 40% chance to win right off the bat, before the battle even started. And if you have 3+ - it's probably a quick loss. I have lost so many matches and points just because people fail to pick brawling tanks and fail to bring their HP and guns into the fight.
Its kind of a double edged sword. Not that great medium players will fail to support their heavies while not that great heavies will play in a way that makes it way harder for mediums to support. Its especially frustrating when you know that on multiple maps the medium flank will absolutely clown on the brawling one.
@@heyho4770 It sure is annoying to get shot in the side or rear by a medium you can't even see, but that is a much less common problem than your teammates just doing whatever in the wrong side of the map and not bringing HP to the fight.
@@VioletGiraffe I see you're greatly misunderstanding my point. A good medium player won't snipe from outside of viewrange but will take map control to flank/create crossfires often at mid to close range.
On super high rank we often play X3 light tanks and 4 mediums. Maybe 1 heavy tank and grille. This game mode is insane. The more you play the more you learn 🤭
meds are better if u got a brain a team of proper meds aka bcat n tvp only in this mode rlly will win most times you know flank etc etc instead of brainlessly apeing

it's easy this year if you are an average player and willing to invest time and grind to get to Silver and if you have bonds to buy Kpz or Concept IMO it is worth doing. I write this as someone who has 2.9k average damage in Onslaught and 55.4% WR, average number of prestige points 103 per game, 145 battles, by just playing and doing weekly missions and I am currently at Silver A and because I finished weekly missions yesterday I will not play again until next season. It cost me total of 4.5 million credits to finish all weekly missions and to get to silver A, losing streaks of 3-4 games with massive loss of points were frequent in Bronze where I started but it got better later in Silver where I would have losing streak of max 2-3 games with minimal loss of points. 102 battles in 60TP with 59% WR and because I got bored playing it I would switch at times to T57 heavy and VZ55 (VZ works well in bronze and early silver) There is no incentive for me to grind further really, I hate Steel Hunter mode but find it more entertaining than Onslaught that is an annoying chore for me...a very nice thing this year that is for sure worth getting is T3 experimental equipment by your choice and u need 6 flags for it.
@@gintsrodionovs i had that problem too, it's simple barrier that you need to break How i broke it: Imagine you expecting a loss already, well then prepare for that loss and get as many prestige points as possibly you can, so you can be 1st in your team, so you can lose max 7pts for example, and in a next round go for a win and you will get into silver First time i failed because i had 999 pts :) 2nd time i actually won that "loss" expected game because i did play so good, and my team did good job also
Dear iyouxin, i do all my best, i have over 3,5k dmg at every battle and still losing 2-7 in every round. 7 defeats in a row same score. -120 points. i wish i had streamer's match making and rng. this game is completely an "other" game for us.. sad but true. our team has players with rental vehicles without even camo...
Damage isn't the end all be all. Some of the highest damage score games I've had were from farming the enemies in a defeat because I wasn't helping my team enough. Use voice chat and platoon if you can. Otherwise just try to prioritise winning over getting damage to avoid losing points. I managed to get 8/10 wins in the qualification just playing with bad players on rental vehicles because this game mode gives you lots of opportunities to get your team mates out of tough situations. And Onslaught is a babysitting game until you get to 1.5k-2k points
E50M in tip 2 is the exact reason, why there is more heavies in lower tiers The meds go so for away from the action... don't use their DPM, just to get a strike or Intel...in the meantime 2 heavies die and the battle is lost
I unlocked Tesak and I don't understand how to treat it properly in random fights. But in onslaught it shows brilliantly effective and deadly, because of reduced reload time and less numbers of enemies.

When I play Onslaught, I win one cracking game, earn 42 points and then lose 5 on the spin and it wipes out everything. All I've ever wanted to do was hit Silver to buy the tanks but I just seem to always have the teams that get rolled over. I have 2 x 7-0 games, I seem to get put with the tomatoes 99% of the time, I really dont play badly I dont know what else I can do?

Onslaught has so much more players actually willing to team play compared to randoms that it's so much more fun. Nobody cares for being the best, everybody wants a win.

I've been trying this mode for the first time and ... getting to 800 points is f*kin impossible, the teams just melt like butter. Getting 6 bronzes and a ? versus 5 silver and 2 bronze is pretty much the norm. Went from 800 to 590 in an hour no matter HOW good I do on the fail team. They need to get rid of the loss for the top two positions on the losing team.
i have tried everything and still stuck on silver going up and down and not even close to gold. avraging about 5-6k damage each round and still 100% loss each day. in the start it was possible to win now i dont win at all
Trying to climb this mode solo and as someone that is not one of the absolute best players and is working 40h/week in just 4 weeks is just insane. Other games give you way more time (LoL for example gives you nearly a year). And I think it needs more time becouse if you dont reach a certain threshold of games played its just luck if you get good teammates. It can only get near statistics (and as so near your real rank) with many MANY games. So for me its just rolling a dice and hoping for the best outcome. Maybe they shouldnt reset your rank 3 times a season? Or maybe get points for being first in losing team and lose points for being last in winning team? I dunno. As it is now its really frustrating. Every afk in your team just stays so much more in your mind then people who carried you. And then afks get points or dont lose points if they are winning? Its not really fair like that.

Today i just bought concept and already played 46 battles with it, its almost perfect, the gun accuracy and handleing can troll you big time sometimes but its ok
I had great experience today in onslaught, lost about 250 points, from 1630 to 1380. Really great experience, i recommend to all of you trying it, very fun mode to play :)
they allowed 121b M60 FV215b and foch155 in onslaught but they dont give you the rentals if you dont have at least 1 TIER10 TREE tank. This is wierd I have a lot of tier 9s but no tier 10 from tech trees so I play with 121b and M60 I got from bonds shop but I cant get rentals here in Jan 2025
Haha. I tried to get silver rank starting with 700 points in bronze. After few tries I gave up with 705 points. Most I had for few minutes was 862... Not for me with barely 50% WR..
My service record says i'm better then 89% of players overall and better then 97% of players in avr dmg... wich is extremely shocking to me as i troll every few games... ReadyToDie4TheWin...
silver in early stages is somethinh else, on silver you can find guys that can't even do 2000 dmg on X on randoms and fucking Global map legends or even global tournament winners

I made 3 milion in profit playing only K-91 till Gold rank, took me 50-60 battles with 70% winrate.

they allowed 121b M60 FV215b and foch155 in onslaught but they dont give you the rentals if you dont have at least 1 TIER10 TREE tank. This is wierd I have a lot of tier 9s but no tier 10 from tech trees so I play with 121b and M60 I got from bonds shop but I cant get rentals here in Jan 2025
Onslaught is a fun mode, much better than boring ''ranked''.

Haha. I tried to get silver rank starting with 700 points in bronze. After few tries I gave up with 705 points. Most I had for few minutes was 862... Not for me with barely 50% WR..
1:22 "without having to grind the tech tree line" I would 100% grind out the techtree line instead of malding over Ranked tho 😭
My service record says i'm better then 89% of players overall and better then 97% of players in avr dmg... wich is extremely shocking to me as i troll every few games... ReadyToDie4TheWin...
silver in early stages is somethinh else, on silver you can find guys that can't even do 2000 dmg on X on randoms and fucking Global map legends or even global tournament winners
