I used to do this with pushups, before I ever heard the term, “grease the groove.” I would just get on the floor at different times during the day and bang out about twenty reps, whenever the mood hit me. Did this for months. One day, I just decided to find out how many I was capable of and did 76 perfect pushups, without ever really training for it. Did the same thing with pull-ups, a couple here, a couple there and was able to do sets of ten during workouts, then. It works.
Good video. The principle of specificity, and doing something frequently to get good at it - and making an absolute commitment to become good at something, it never fails! :)
Great video Sally! I went through a phase of doing toilet sets when I was working in an office which was actually a flat so had a full bathroom with lots of space. Whenever I went I did a set of push ups!
