Have had it for a good 3 months now, and absolutely love it! The only slight dislike I have is when going in first gear (with stock exhaust) it kind of sounds like a lawnmower due to its single cylinder - low gearing setup. It's quite monotone unless you crank the hell out of it. Aside from that the engine is bulletproof, it is a bit jerky at certain revs but honestly I think it gives it some character, you feel it wants to go. It is not that happy at steady rpm's, it is out to have fun! I can imagine I would love the trail version too, but I have nowhere to ride it to benefit from its suspension and tires, so I am perfectly happy with my Strada girl!
That's my gripe with it as well. First gear is just to short for traffic.. I find myself slipping the clutch in second more then using first gear, also because of the heavy engine breaking
I do agree that the bike is very agile and allows for mostly great riding. But I dislike some things: -stuttering/unsmooth engine when going at constant speed (especially between 3200-4500 rpm) I strongly and mostly dislike this part -uneven distribution of torque when accelerating from a full stop (but I guess this is due to emission regulations at certain rpm) -contrary to your opinion, I find the mirrors are a bit too small -fuel consumption too f**king high! (on a good day I get ~20 km per liter) For this, the tank is a bit small. -filling up is also a bit annoying with the fuel intake located under the tank cover that can only be unlocked if the ignition/electricity is on (which get's even ore annoying if you have the tank cover for the tank bag) But I do love the style. Though I am a bit sad I didn't go for the Trail version (which is more off-road oriented, like the older Pegaso models). I came from a sportstouring 4 cyl 600 cc engines. I find the slightly forward-leaning sitting position a bit more comfortable for longer rides, also because you catch less wind. And you get good torque as well, and a much bigger usable rpm band (I particularly like the Honda CBF600S, though it looks kind of boring. But it does much better on the mileage as well! 78 horsepowers from only 600 cc!!) By the way: I had the same issue with the auto cancelling indicators. You need to get a software update for the dash board from your Aprilia dealership. They fixed it in the newest version.
N3ssaya Longer suspension and higher mud guard, as well as spoked wheels for better off-road performance (less heavy, also easier to fix a punctured tyre). Has no fuel gauge though. Higher windshield and raised bench (+3 cm) for more comfortable travel. Sturdier engine mud guard as well I think. If you mostly gonna ride on the street, get the Strada.

Yes, somehow I do. I don't know why. It must be the italien style (mine was even registered first in Rome). But I'd trade it for the Trail any second!

Hi thanks for your question I have had both and have to say that the Pegaso Strada which is actually 660cc is much more fun and usable
