Sir, when in Rome, wisdom is to do like the Romans. When in Malaysia, I will carry a Malaysia load like the Commandos carry. When you meet aggressive Russell’s viper, a king cobra, orangutan, or wild headhunters, you may find common ground withall. Also why if you wear underwear, you might want to carry a couple of extra pair.
Sir, the double side saddles is good thinking out of the box. Ready shock absorption as well as firepower. Shoot one, load one may be a good habit, too. Flight Control rounds good for anti-drone?
For many years, I've been wearing a Sord padded Molle belt with various pouches as a sort of bum bag (Australian men don't have fannies😊), when in the bush. Depending on the task, sometimes I attach canteens, though I find once I add multiple canteens or any other considerable weight, I prefer to attach some form of shoulder harness to allow for comfortable carrying without needing to over-tighten the belt.
Being a fudd, I still like the old pistol belt/suspenders/ buttpack/pouches LBE Depending on when and where I might be utilizing my old Proteus fanny pack or a regular hunting vest. But I'll always do pocket carry for my indispensables
Fanny packs are also excellent for home defense. You can have a mini-load out on you in a second. A holster, concealment, medical, glasses, phone, knife literally everything you could need for a bump in the night or a quick low-profile load out for any situation.
Great video Andrew! A kit packed full is always important to keep things from klanking around. Anyway, the videos are fantastic! Keep up the outstanding work.

I love the mossberg 500, was my first shotgun, love it love it. remove the dowel, holds 8 shells. very dependable, even dirty. cheap at the time, as well.
I remember when I got my first mossberg. 3 shells in the magtube and it was full. Thought the dang thing was broken. After trying to figure the dang thing out for too long. I opened the instructions. Oooooo the dowel…whoops.
@@richardchandler968 ha ha I specifically bought mine simply because you could have one in the chamber for a total of 9 shots. Then I had way too much fun with sabot slugs, but I think my shoulder still regrets it :p
John Turtle, I have been told at Canadian customs that a 3-round magazine plug is mandatory. It never actually applied to predator control as far as I know, but carrying a plug or two as option is probably a good idea. A pistol grip may also hinder passage into or through Canada, although I knew a Canadian timber cruiser who carried a pistol grip without shoulder stock.
Nice!! The fanny pack is back! I've been using one for about 5 years now as a truck-gun supply holder. Grab your gun, strap your stylin fanny pack on, and wear your get home bag. GTG. Also, I just didn't want to give up the 90s, so there's that.... Cheers from Alberta!!

Fanny bags!? Wow! Thought I'd seen the last of them! Still a big fan even to today! However, I recently bought myself a military grade sling bag! Haven't looked back since! She's a little heavy due to my personal customisation, but in the event of an extreme emergency, crisis or disaster I can just pick that bag up, attach it to my body and walk out through the front door. I bought a retractable baton-holster and repurposed it to hold a star flashlight. That item, fits beautifully on the front strap of the bag, there is also a waist pouch that I bought superately, in that, I have seasoned wood wood fire extenders and a bellows, and attached to the very same waist pouch is of course my multi tool wouldn't leave the home without it. Why Seasoned wood? Well, I've equipped the sling bag with a wood stove and because the wood is seasoned it produces very little smoke so I can reduce my signature and location on my first couple of days/nights out in the bush. I also have managed to attach a folding wood saw for processing, a folding knife and many other items including face paint and a water purification kit. Like I said previously, I haven't looked back, I strongly recommend that you check this litte beauty out. End.
