2017 Hofbräu Masskrugstemmen U.S. Steinholding Association National Championship Men's Division

The 9th Annual Hofbräu Masskrugstemmen National Championship was held on Saturday September 19th, 2017 in Central Park at the New York City Oktoberfest and Steuben Day Parade. The national record for steinholding/masskrugstemmen was set at 21 minutes and 5 seconds by Michael Ayling representing The Phoenix Sports Club in Bucks County Pennsylvania!

If you are talking about MIKE TYLER, he broke his hand about a week before the competition, but rather than back out he chose to use his left hand, which I think took alot of guts! Oh yes, I also beat him that day.

Mugs are filled to the 1L mark on the glass, not to the brim of the mug, according to USSA official rules. Leaning is also allowed to some extent, although the rule has gotten more strict for leaning since 2017.
