Using Avada kadabra is not acceptable, this professor should have been sent to Azkaban, period. Isadora is not evil, it’s the Indian professor is. He is a murder just like Sebastian. No matter if you agree with each other or not that does not give u the right nor lawful to kill someone.
1. San wasn't sent to Azkaban cause he lived in the Tudor era(1400s). The 3 Curses were made Unforgivable in the 1600s. 2. It's doubtful Isidora turned her father in that. I think something is afoul. There are still a few questions that need answers: Why and Who did destroy her portrait? Did the Keepers actually not know that Isidora left memories of her own? Why did San Bakar go alone to her? He is kinda sus to me...
@harshraj-yt6fg This is false, NOBODY knows what the magic is capable of. We don't know if this was a temporary state, case-specific, or if she could return him to normal by giving him his emotion back. They were dealing with something unknown, and she was sentenced to death for it. Imagine if a scientist experimented (with consent) on people and the police show up and gun them down.
The curses were made illegal in the year 1717. Before that, you would likely have gotten away with it(Providing that there were no witnesses to the event that gave cause for any such individual to warrant the use of such a curse). Not to mention, there's probably some sort of statute of limitations for those who may have used the curses in the years prior to the law being put in place by the Ministry of Magic. Hence the reason why Professor Bakar was not sent to Azkaban for his use of the Killing Curse on Isidora Morganach, which took place several decades before the law was made and enforced.
Thanks. Being looking for this.
You are welcome :)
