What was cool about The Cars was that there's never been another band before or since that sounds anything like them. They were truly unique. That's _very_ rare in the music industry, where most ever band/singer sounds like everybody else around them, with the same "sound of the moment." And their music was incredible. Can't even believe this album is now going on 42 years old. The other day on my lunch break I was sitting in my car eating and listening to this very album, marveling at how kick ass it still is, and how much it eclipses present day music.
