Listening to Fury makes me feel how dark, dramatic and dreary Absolution really is. It's probably their darkest album imho. From Apocalypse Please to Ruled by Secrecy, it's full of intense and gloomy thoughts on not-so-abstract topics, which have become even more prevalent since it came out and made the album an evergreen (sadly). Super pumped for your reaction to Exogenesis Symphony. I can't wait to see what you think about that beast of a track(s)
I've been a HUGE Muse fan since Showbiz. Always love watching Muse reaction videos on YT. But I'm really enjoying your technical breakdowns of their songs, and I'm learning from it to. Keep them coming man. I'd recommend City Of Delusion, phenomenal track
Check out this song live 2004 at the wiltern in LA, it's the best performance of this song, it's great! You won't be disappointed, I think it's grittier and epic live.
That is a killer performance of this beast of a track. His ability to NOT BREATH for half of the chorus while keeping on those looong and high chesty vocals are among the most bad ass things I've seen. Ever. So yes, it is definently worth checking out.
One of my favorites off Absolution! Great track. That slow heavy droning is so goth haha! Exogenesis is an emotional track for me. I'll have to work up to that one. Don't forget to check out Thank You Scientist! The song Plague Accommodations off the new EP is awesome!

Love it, just go into darkshines or filip or check out some festival in 1999-2002. Thanks ever so much. but if you care, check out the metal medley at rah 2018 or the complete setlist at shepherds in 2017. Please because i broke my arm and cant enjoy like i would but should as Muse is epic.
Now that you have heard a good portion of their discography, do you notice a difference between their older stuff and Won't Stand Down? As in it sounds alot more basic, lacking in layers, arpeggio's, creativity? Maybe it was just me but that song really underwhelmed
Another must-listen song from Absolution is Sing for Absolution, probably my favorite track of the entire album.

The b sides from muse are incredible, its a testament to how great their songs are that they don't make the album
The isolated background vocals at the end are incredible. I had never heard them isolated before, but they’re angelic.
Check out glorious which is the bonus track off black holes and revelations. A track which again is hard to believe never made the album.
