The typhoon pick is interesting when you've already got the mustangs. I tend to think of them as filling basically the same role. Not that the other choices were all that great. I was thinking steel ball, but they'd suffer a lot when the opponent goes heavy phoenixes.

5:46 This Mustang pack should be placed so it targets Fangs on the left and right flank, Your Snipers on Your right flank are occupied with Fangs for ages.
6:25 On the left flank chaff clear takes too much time, i would click explosive ammo on Mustangs just after seeing that.
I think i would go Fang Summoning on the Fortress instead of Shields to distract Phoenixes.
His plan was to use Phoenixes to win the game, and everything else was to remove obstacles for Phoenixes or buy time(tank) for Phoenixes, hence Your plan should be to make sure that Mustangs and Snipers survive long enough to deal with Phoenixes.
Instead of buying Fortress, I would focus on killing Vulcans a lot faster and distracting Phoenixes maybe with Fangs, Your Sabertooths clearly needed protection from Phoenixes.

I think this was a wasp game. He didn't have any anti air chaff clear, so a few packs of those would have stripped away a lot from him.
Other thing is of course scorpions. You had great chaff clear, and a ton of anti air, so they wouldn't get stuck hitting nothing or leave a problem unanswered.
Still, good game.
