Hey Loves, this a just a video showing how I sew the Dashiki /Kufi Kofi Hat. This project was requested and inspired by a subscriber her TH-cam NAME is FASHIONABLE CHAMBERS. It was a delight to make ...very easy and straightforward and I hope you enjoy it.

exactly how long is the strip that you cut? You say 11cm but when you cut the strip it is longggg.

I just folded the end as if to say I was going to do a normal hem and the sew a straight line from the the begining (top) down ,that way it won't have a sharp (rough) cut finish. I hope this helps.xx

How long is the side piece ? It looks longer then the pattern you cut.

What math you use to figure out the circle for the hat cant seem to figure it out yet
The best tutorial. I would like to try this but I don't know what is the "interfacing" Can I use another thing inside of that?
Thanks darling. I think you can use a tougher fabric in place of the interfacing...at least that's what I would use. cheers.xx
Interfacing is a white fabric that is used inside of a decorative fabric to give it more stiffness so that the band will stay in place when worn. It can be bought in an iron-on or a sew-in, black or white.

Thanks for watching. The size of the hat was exactly how I wanted it ...(you could increase dimensions when doing yours) and the paper is just plain A4 sheet (you know that type for printing?yes. .. but you could use any other kind of paper or even fabric if you like.) x

ok dear it's a kind of fabric...it's called interfacing or gum-stay depending on where you are.

I mad that i just found out what a kufi is and how my dad got kicked out of the gym for it
Where and why did he get kicked out the gym for wearing a kufi. He should write the owner and give the history of the kufi. We must inform people.
