Dear Pr. Jim I was in a two-day seminar hosted in IEC/ Ethiopia on real-life discipleship. I was really moved by the seminar and the whole idea of real-life discipleship. I was talking about the seminar the whole weekend to my wife and my friends in Christ. Everyone is thrilled by the idea of it. I hope today's church will remarry the messages of Jesus with His methodology of discipleship.

Thank you - I like what you say about a 40 year old that is spiritually 2 years old and an 18 year old that may be 25 years old spiritually.

Where does it say in the bible that We Give our lives to Christ?
I thought like John 3:16 says the moment you Believe in Jesus Christ you will not perish but have eternal life. So we do not boast and "say we did it", believing isn't giving anything, its just believing what he did to cover our sins. The moment we believe in him, its his blood that covers our sins. Then we receive the Holy Spirit
    What Giving means:
freely transfer the possession of (something) to (someone); hand over to. or cause or allow (someone or something) to have (something, especially something abstract); provide or supply with.
    .
accept (something) as true; feel sure of the truth of.
