- So, I watched @DidoASMR play this game and I ordered it immediately. But while it's on it's way, I wanted to give it a practice run. So here's my first run at Shut the Box and I hope you enjoy!
(I also sprinkled in some solitaire cause I couldn't help myself lol)

i’ve only played shut the box with the actual box, but playing with cards was a genius idea, i might use that the next time i need like a quick travel game of it

Doing it with cards is so smart!!! I’ve been wanting to do games with cards and dice for a while, thanks for the idea!
i know you mentioned the video being “low effort” but i really liked the sound of the cards and the dice on the table
This was really nice! It made me remember that my sister and I played a version of this all the time when we were growing up, except we played against each other so you can flip your opponent's cards back over if you want for your turn, and if you want to "lock" your card into place so it can't get flipped back you have to get that number again at some point then push it up from the main row to a "locked in" row. Hopefully that makes sense, it was fun for rainy cottage days!

In shut the box once you have the lower numbers left so once 7-9 are gone you can use once dice if you want to
