Yikes! I frequent a NWR in Alabama and I’ve had a similar experience. Thankfully it didn’t come out of the water but did come cruising in for an up close and personal visit. Most gators here will move away.... but not all. Thanks for the reminder to always be aware. No way in hell do I get down at waters edge! Be safe.
