- This time on Busted Knuckle Builds we are showing off our first 2023 Rock Bouncer Build. Jake Burkey and the team at Busted Knuckle Off Road have these rock bouncing buggies dialed performance wise so for the new year we are focusing on creature comforts. We started out with a quieter exhaust system, then we added more storage including a glove box. Then some added safety items were addressed with a neutral safety switch and the relocation of a few key components. We delivered this turnkey rock bouncer which is based off our RIDE platform 5 weeks early thanks to Wesley bringing us some really good BBQ that he made himself. @@BustedKnuckleOffRoad I don't care about the colors, I care about the quality and meticulous choice of products. It could be painted of hot pink and I'll still love it. But my favorite color would be Military Sand or Military Green from Wrangler Rubicon, perfect and honorable colors.

I wonder if Matt’s to hell and back trip prompted some more creature comforts? Full props for insane bouncers, I’m diggin the crossover approach where someone can comfortably trail ride one too. Have you guys ever done one that can be more weather tight, inner fenders, enclosed firewall, rear bulkhead, etc etc? These chassis are hands down bulletproof, I kinda want to plop my jeep body down on one!
We have windshields and such now that make them closed in pretty good

What do you call those mounts that hood the hoses to the link bars? I can’t find them in the web-shop.
What decides if a chassis gets an extra support under the A pillar? Seen a few different designs on your frames.
It is an option when you order your chassis. For racers we typically add this bar.

Has anyone ever heard of using twin beam style suspension on a Rockwell 2.5 ton axle? I realize that Rockwell axles are incredibly heavy and might not even work with this type of suspension. Just wondering about suspension options for running Rockwells front and rear. Thanks

I’m very interested. But how is ride quality on desert trails compared to Polaris Pro R? Also can it dune Glamis with some paddles? lol
Ride quality is amazing, gonna be hard to beat fully independent suspension of a Pro R, but you also don't have to worry about these breaking. We actually have a customer in Oregon that takes his buggy to the dunes very often with paddles and has no issues.

As soon as he said its quieter i aleeady didnt like it
When you trail ride these machines quieter is better, even with the new mufflers they are still some of the loudest vehicles on the trail. You can always order yours with muffler deletes
