I live in Canada, spent some time in Ireland so I know of "Benidorm" the TV show but after watching just one of these real life versions? I'm hooked and I don't know why??!!

That makes everything expensive as got to cover outlays.

Love the Skip guy. In the USA a skip is called a dumpster. My friend goes ‘dumpster diving’ all the time. Recently she found a Turkish rug which she sold for $1.700.

Aussie living in the USA here, the dumpster diving in the USA is the best I’ve ever experienced! I love it! And when I don’t want it, I pass it on to others or put it on the free neighborhood page 👍 reduce, reuse & recycle! ❤
I put this comment as a reply to another post. But thought I'd repeat it on its own post.....so....IMHO....
People living there want to basically have everything as British as possible, but without the shit weather and sky-high living expenses. And what's wrong with that? Everyone's a winner - Spain makes tens of millions of Euros a year from the Brits, and the Brits get to live cheaply in the sun.... no one is hurting anyone. In fact, quite the opposite - from what I can see, there appears to be a lovely little community that has sprung up, who certainly seem happier than the grumpy, moaning old twats that you come across daily back here in the miserable old UK. Here we are, almost May, and all we've had is fcking cold and rain all of April.
You know what....fck it, I'm coming out there to get myself a caravan and live in the sun amongst some happy and smiley people...see ya soon..... lol 😆 ❤️ ☀️👍🇪🇸🇬🇧

I live in Spain and these are the last people I would ever mix with. We live inland and learn and speak Spanish. We go to the coast sometimes and if we go into a bar or restaurant we speak Spanish and get so much more service than the none Spanish speaking brits
That's because you actually made an effort to integrate yourself into the local community instead of forming your own where learning the language and cuisine is completely frowned upon
@@ianpilkington2037 I could not imagine living surrounded by beer swilling shirtless generally overweight guys we love Spain English is not spoken in our Pueblo and the Spanish especially the older ones love tte fact we buy old traditional properties and bring them up to liveable houses in keeping with local traditions

Because they want to go somewhere hot but yet want everything to be where they've taken a holiday away from. They won't learn the language, they'll eat British food. So in essence they waste airfare

My idea of a NIGHTMARE! Home from home? English food……Why go abroad? Stay at home in the UK so the more cultured of us can have some peace and quiet while on holiday. Then again it might be better they stay in Benidorm. Keeps them away from the decent places in the world.
They go for the sun cheap drinks and food not the culture plus it's only 2 hours from England ...its not rocket science . I dont understand why people keep asking this same question. Same as stags and hens go to Krakow 2 hours away cheap flights and drinks cheap strip bars

I am pretty sure if it wasn't for the six kids (who were noticably absent....embarassed probably) I am sure his wife would have left him long ago. Ants does not look like a qualified group fitness instructor in my professional opinion. The female instructor at the pool is the real deal in contrast. Also, classes are all about numbers of participants - if you don’t attract participants, you don’t get to keep your class, it will be given to another instructor. That’s how it is.
