I've been to this park several times while working in Malawi in 2013 and it even back then it was truly astounding. Large broad rivers are not common in southern and this park boasts the sheri river which is comes from the overflow of lake Malawi and meanders across the country before joining the zambezi river. The life around the river especially the elephants are truely amazing

We should do this in North America as well, grizzly bears used to have a range from Canada all the way to Mexico.
People are trying, one such effort is called the American Serengeti project. Trying to restore the Great Plains to their former glory
