Nelson is lovely, and so close to many amazing places. I bet you would enjoy the Tiny Lights Festival in Ymir on Jun 14-16. It's a really well curated music and art festival that will blow you away. Thanks for sharing.
Hey there! I'm an admirer from afar. I've been considering van life when I retire from my regular job, so I've been watching a ton of videos. I'm happy to follow your channel because you seem like the sweetest couple and you obviously love being free to experience all that nature has to offer. Have a great week and I hope to be among your audience.
Love it especially when you show the areas around Nelson. It's such a beautiful place. But then, just about everything you've shared has been great. All the best, guys.
Always nice to hear about the ups/downs of vehicular living, life as a couple in a tiny space, pet ownership, home maintenance and anything else low in drama. :)
Hey guys, I enjoy vlogs that emphasize the beauty of landscapes, love scenic views sunrises & sunsets. (Love the Mexico vacation you did). I admire the way you made adjustments to accommodate your daily lives while still keeping your fans along for the ride. Here's to new adventures & the beauty that awaits us.
So happy to hear that, thank you!! We’ll definitely make sure to show off all the beauty that BC has to offer! & thank you for continuing to watch, we appreciate it!
Nelson is such a beautiful place. Just keep following your hearts and doing what you both are doing. Really enjoying the content. Wishing you both the very best in life. Hope you have a wonderful week. Take care
A new subscriber here & already a fan! Cause you’re 🇨🇦 and in Nelson BC, where I’ve only travelled to once/have some family there.. what a great spot to call home! I’d luv to see more of that area and the Kootenays, what your water filtration system is, any tips & tricks for van life, meal hacks too. I’m another one entertaining this lifestyle when I retire (soon) so any safety stuff is helpful too as a solo female traveller. Luv the pup, love the vibe!! Way to go! 🐾❣️
Yay, thanks so much for being here!! We’ll definitely do our best to share a whole mix of things in the coming months ☺️ & we might be biased but van life sounds like an amazing retirement plan!
Frank here, funky cooking prep with Dayne was cool, beautiful hiking shots around Nelson are always appreciated. Would love to get some cocktail recipes out of this vlog too. Nice work ya'll keep on keepin' on.
“Warning Bear in area” …. dog is off leash. Sorry to pick but that is bad practice. I live Uphill in Nelson and saw a grizzly on the rail grade above the cemetery a few days ago. You don’t want your pupper making that bear mad and bringing it back to you. It was big. Stay safe and have fun.
Totally understand the concern! We are however very bear aware and Mowgli is not only well trained off leash but also very used to spending multiple days at a time in the backcountry with us where the risk is much higher than on frequented trails! We would never put him or ourselves in a situation that we feel is unsafe!
Yes, thanks to taxes and cost of living. Food/gas prices too. But our quality of life is pretty awesome as is our natural beauty here and care for the environment.
Thanks so much! Happy to have you along for the adventure! & for us personally, I think BC is cheaper just because of where the CAD dollar stands at the moment!
If when you' re in Nelon perhaps you can visit the local pet store that sells treats and support the locals when you are in their backyard, "NOT AMAZON" in Nelson, nasty, and... you could grad a coffee just next door on the corner. Sit and get a taste and show a taste to your viewers what Nelson and its people are like, would add lots of interest to yuor video.Thank YOU
There is plenty that we buy from our local pet store & support local whenever we can. Unfortunately the brand of dog food that we buy for Mowgli is not available in town so we have to make the purchase online - however, it is not from Amazon :) & yes, we love our local coffee shops! We think you’ll really enjoy next weeks video - stay tuned ✨
Thank you, that is some of our favourite footage from Baja also! We will do our best to capture more wildlife within our adventures if the opportunity arises but unfortunately I don’t think we’ll be around any whales anytime soon!
Thats so funny, I follow all those channels you mentioned!!
They’re all the best!!
Happy Sunday!! We’re super curious! What kind of vlogs do you enjoy most from us? LET US KNOW IN THE COMMENTS ⬇
For me I like how you guys share how you make this life possible. From logistics to how you stay so positive even through obstacles.
Aw thanks so much, we appreciate that :)

@@dayneandjo If you go tell Skye Wallace that Doug Koyama said hi for me.
Scenic, beautiful places are my favorite. Waterfalls places I would like to explore.

Aw thank you! That would definitely be a fun project - something to think about for the future for sure ☺️
My family and I like the vanlife vlogs with cooking and adventure stories!

Thank you so much 🧡
We're in BC too! Just starting out with a TH-cam channel :) I (PK) lived in Nelson while I went to Selkirk college.
So fun! Best of luck with parenthood, look forward to following along your adventure 🤗
You do a good job keep it up
Thanks so much!!
More Mowgli!
We can do that!! 🐾
I enjoy all of your content . I’m excited to see where you will be living , exploring and working. Is it more expensive in BC than the U.S. ?

Give each other some piggyback rides lol
🤣🤣🤣

What is that you have on the water hose ( van end) that allows you to gravity fill without Soo much spillage?
Oh gosh, it’s a makeshift hose end that my dad made for me! I’d have to ask him for more details 🙈

I started following you because of your amazing cinematography of the whales in Baja. I'm not interested in what day-to-day life is like in a van.
Thank you, that is some of our favourite footage from Baja also! We will do our best to capture more wildlife within our adventures if the opportunity arises but unfortunately I don’t think we’ll be around any whales anytime soon!
@dayneandjo Oh wow, thank you for the reply.
Anything nature related is up my strasse. Not just whales. 😉
Thanks folks
Thanks for watching!
