I know this is a year old but I am just finding out about this foundation as I have been researching cruelty free brands good for fair/cool toned and dry skin. I always look to see if you have made a review as part of my research process! I will definitely try this one, what a great price point too.

I just tried a sample of the Denessa Myrick foundation and I think it’s gorgeous but it definitely has an interesting scent to it - at least while you’re applying it - but it doesn’t linger as you wear it. I love the thought that our colors represent how we are feeling for the day and how we can have one idea in mind and end up in a totally different direction! This whole look is fantastic 😍

Ugh I loooove this foundation. I just wish it had preservatives lol. It’s so creamy and looks gorgeous. I wear 110, which is very neutral on my skin. It even wears beautifully and doesn’t bunch, get dry, settle into my wrinkles, etc. love it love it

I got this one in 120 and it still runs a bit more neutral than pink, but it's a very decent match. I was curious if you were going to try this one. I do like it for when I want a bit of more coverage. I found it lasts really well on a 10hr work shift, so from application to taking it off it's about 12hr wear.
@@gategirl66 no foundation has gone intact under a mask under any shift for me. That’s just not a reality that exists in my world. The worst is a bit comes off on the tip of the nose and under the chin.
@@melissaoliver9072 Right? Same here, but I've had the best luck so far with L'oreal Infallible and more recently the new No7. I've also been using Mac Fix Plus over foundation, applying light layer of Kosas powder, blush, then the Mac Fix Plus again. I just do my eye makeup in between while drying. I have rosacea, so I only do all this so my nose and chin don't look clown-like while I'm eating in a breakroom..lol .. Surprisingly, it's actually helped.
@@gategirl66 I also have rosacea. This foundation only came off a bit off the nose and under the chin. And since it’s a decent match to me (a bit more neutral than I’d like) the difference in the area it came off was not too drastic. I applied it with my fingers for a thinner layer. It did well.

Hi! 🙋🏼♀️ I like this foundation, I originally had shade 140 but pulled too warm on me, so I traded it for 150 which has a cool pink undertone. No warmth. This feels good on! You gotta try the matching concealer and pressed powder, it’s baked and so soft!
I might actually get this one. The 150 shade says it's got "cool pink" undertones as opposed to the "subtle pink" that the 140 shade has. Knowing how your shade darkens slightly in the summer would you say that the 150 might work better for you in the coming months, since 140 is a little lighter and has the almost warm look to it? i hope I haven't made this too confusing 😊😂 I can usually go by the shades you use so I'm hoping to not have to deal with returns and whatnot.

This is super late to respond BUT I wanted to say - you might experience dryness if you live in a dried or not humid climate due to the hyaluronic acid. Hyaluronic acid works it’s magic when it can actually draw moisture from the air, but in a dry environment it can do the exact opposite. Just food for thought!

Ziva, you stinker! 😸 While shopping at Target the other day, I picked up a tube of The Lip Bar concealer to try out. It's very smoothing with no caking or bunching up....and no creasing! So far I'm quite impressed. 😀 This foundation looks very smooth on your skin. Nice even coverage. Most of my sun damage is along my jawline too. Most likely from driving in the car. 🙄 Lol! My smoky eye is almost always by accident! 😂
It would be purely a coverage level decision for me - the tinted oil is less coverage, more of a no-makeup makeup look, where this can wear a bit more like a coverage foundation. But my skin loves them equally.
I very much enjoy them both but I do like the Bobbi Brown a smidge more - but we're really splitting hairs. I'd be happy with either one if it was my last foundation ever :) lol

Rant Alert!! When I see cats in youtuber videos, I can't help but wonder how bored they must be (if they're indoor bound) having nothing but lifeless, idle objects around to look at 24/7, sleeping & waking up to pretty much the same scene & the same lifeless objects day in & day out for years & that, when the entire purpose of their existence is to experience the exact OPPOSITE of that; while we, humans (as more complex beings with alternative ways of fulfilling our 'purpose' in life ) are not only indoor bound pretty much by choice (which in & of itself is a form of pleasure & a source of stimulation or inspiration for our mind & spirit, especially since it's almost always in contrast to the outdoor life stimulants that we've already experienced) but even there, we have countless sources of self-stimulating & self-satisfying indoor entertainment & activity (reading, watching TV, chatting with friends, preparing food, eating that food, gardening, taking a bath, grooming ourselves, cleaning, decorating,...) before sleeping & waking up to the choice of contrasting that with the exact opposite (outdoor life) experience, over & over, again.....And that's before we even count in the option of having the entire outside world (& the endless list of pleasures attached to it) come straight into our 'indoor' experience. Think about that. Think about the magnitude of having sooooooooooooooooooo many choices at our disposal & the impact of actually going through & sensing multiple contrasted experiences, to the point, for us, even 'boredom' would be yet another form of satisfaction or inspiration. Meanwhile, in that entire time, our pets, (especially indoor only cats) have had their few short years of life pass by with almost zero stimulation or entertainment & absolutely zero % of their animalistic nature's 'purpose' in life. If they're lucky, SOME will get some petting sessions & the occasional chance to mimic their life's purpose, through a few short instances a day (or week) of play time. :(((((((((((((((((((
If it makes you feel any better, part of why I eventually started allowing Ziva to jump in whenever she wants is because I sit and read the comments with her and tell her/pet her every time somebody says hi or mentions her in the comments. So she now connects me turning on my studio lights with knowing we're going to sit down and read comments and get pet afterward... usually I think she's just telling me to hurry up and skip to the petting.

Haven't you learned by now that the cat gets what the cat wants, when the cat wants it, or terrible retribution will happen to the humans who fail to treat the cat with proper adoration? (My cat is watching me type this and nodding in agreement with very word. 😏)

Rant Alert!!
When I see cats in youtuber videos, I can't help but wonder how bored they must be (if they're indoor bound) having nothing but lifeless, idle objects around to look at 24/7, sleeping & waking up to pretty much the same scene & the same lifeless objects day in & day out for years & that, when the entire purpose of their existence is to experience the exact OPPOSITE of that; while we, humans (as more complex beings with alternative ways of fulfilling our 'purpose' in life ) are not only indoor bound pretty much by choice (which in & of itself is a form of pleasure & a source of stimulation or inspiration for our mind & spirit, especially since it's almost always in contrast to the outdoor life stimulants that we've already experienced) but even there, we have countless sources of self-stimulating & self-satisfying indoor entertainment & activity (reading, watching TV, chatting with friends, preparing food, eating that food, gardening, taking a bath, grooming ourselves, cleaning, decorating,...) before sleeping & waking up to the choice of contrasting that with the exact opposite (outdoor life) experience, over & over, again.....And that's before we even count in the option of having the entire outside world (& the endless list of pleasures attached to it) come straight into our 'indoor' experience.
Think about that. Think about the magnitude of having sooooooooooooooooooo many choices at our disposal & the impact of actually going through & sensing multiple contrasted experiences, to the point, for us, even 'boredom' would be yet another form of satisfaction or inspiration. Meanwhile, in that entire time, our pets, (especially indoor only cats) have had their few short years of life pass by with almost zero stimulation or entertainment & absolutely zero % of their animalistic nature's 'purpose' in life. If they're lucky, SOME will get some petting sessions & the occasional chance to mimic their life's purpose, through a few short instances a day (or week) of play time. :(((((((((((((((((((
If it makes you feel any better, part of why I eventually started allowing Ziva to jump in whenever she wants is because I sit and read the comments with her and tell her/pet her every time somebody says hi or mentions her in the comments. So she now connects me turning on my studio lights with knowing we're going to sit down and read comments and get pet afterward... usually I think she's just telling me to hurry up and skip to the petting.
