With the talent within the band and the ultimate front man they hit the ground running, they were never going to fail. Andy Summers guitar playing was unique and very special , Stewart Copeland is a brilliant drummer and Sting's amazing voice , bass playing , songwriting and stunning looks was a winner . They were kick ass good.
@@garrettvann7427 Police for me. More varied music. Punk, reggae, rock, jazz, all mixed in together. Rush were pretty much a progressive rock band. An extremely good one but not so much diversity. Plus, Sting, Stewart Copeland and Andy Summers all worked with a lot of jazz musicians after the Police.
For those who have only heard Police songs on mainstream radio, it's only the tip of the iceberg in terms of what this band did live, and they missed what they did best.
Sting, Stewart and Summers - three particular particles in this universe which explain the whole. Or so Julian Barbour says. And so Rock'nRoll always said: Oi Oi Oi... ahem.
Zenyatta had these gems like Shadows, world keeps running down, Canary in a Coalmine & Driven to tears. Incredible songs.

One of the most spaced out versions of Shadows in the Rain I've ever heard, with Andy doing some mind warping effects work.
This band opened my ears to all kinds of music... they were very varied musicians, even though they worked in the mainstream pop/rock field.
Some of their hits made mainstream but there live performances were anything but .
Only the 'Rockpalast' version is even better! 🙂
@qb Gromit - I'll check it out! Thank you for the suggestion! 🙂
Andy Summers guitar sounds! Just heaven
what do u think? back in the early 80s 38 years ago and sounds like a future still
The perfect live performance.
This one and Buenos Aires 80 are best ever versions. Chamber is it all.
The best three piece band ever
Rush is

La canción bien se oyen drums, el vídeo muy x, a mi me gusta ver a Stewart Copeland ticando y en este lo vi muy poco, al menos si escuche sus drums...
