    Native German speaker here. You really need to keep in mind that everyone's their own worst critic. Your German is great. Ya, sometimes the suffixes were a bit off or you were blanking on a specific word, but it was barely noticeable.
    Also, your accent is seriously impressive.
    Was a fun little video. Keep up the great work. ❤👏

    your german is insanely good! i was genuinely shocked at your grammar (because there literally wasn't? a single mistake?) and how huge your vocabulary seems judging by this video :o als du gefragt hast, warum alle Deutschen nur nach Mallorca und Amsterdam gehen, habe ich fast mein Wasser ausgespuckt lmao because it's true, we Germans really don't go anywhere else when we travel 😂

    • @elyssespeaks
      @elyssespeaks  2 ปีที่แล้ว +9

      hahaha i’m sure there were some mistakes in there somewhere… und ja Mallorca ist für die Deutschen wie Miami für die Amerikaner 😹

    German speaker here, it’s impressive how you speak! I’ve been folllwing for a while and to me it’s nothing more than an expected little bump in the road that will fill up by getting to it regularly. Like someone said below, everybody’s their worst critic 😊

    Thank you for this view behind the scene. Your german is impressiv. I am pretty sure, that you will not loose your german. You might get rusty, but it will come back . You will only need some practice to get back on a decent level. BTW Do you know Prof. Stephen Krashen's hypothesis about language lerning? I think they will fill out some blanks in your learning strategy. All the best for you.
