So far in India we have taken a 12 hour train from Delhi to Amritsar where we met quite a few interesting characters. From there we did a "do it yourself" food tour of India's best food and now we are making our way to Shimla; a hillstation at the foothills of the Himalayas. We are going from Kalka to Shimla via the Himalayan Queen; along the rail that is a UNESCO World Heritage site and was built in 1903. Today we will show you India's most Scenic Train Journey.

Technically, the most scenic train route in India is the New Jalpaiguri - Darjeeling route, which is also a UNESCO World Heritage, but Kalka - Shimla is amazing too, especially during snow season.
Indians are not used to snow but westerners are. Greenery without snow is beautiful for them.

@@shubhamsharma_1234 it rarely snows in Darjeeling town. You have to go higher up, like towards Sandakphu.

What an awesome looking train, both inside and out! Very traditional and loved the atmosphere in the carriage. Epic footage and views along the way, I think you may be right about it being the most scenic train in India. Everyone was really friendly and you got to hang out of the window - it's not a contender for best train ride if you can't do that!

What a beautiful day for a train adventure the weather looks perfect and you can feel all the anticipation building before the journey begins and all the excitement because you know this is gonna be absolutely amazing and a big shout out to the new youtubers that just started their channel and the all the views from the train the country side the hills and valleys and the landscape looks so spectacular this has been such an exciting incredible experience and wonderful day from this beautiful country called India 🚆 🇮🇳

It’s a off season in shimla , so i think you should head towards manali and leh that will be much more fun than shimla 🔥and don’t forgot to bargain there everyone will tell you 40-50% more price than the actual😅 i visited there few days back 😋

I guess you got it in Mexico 🇲🇽 because of the doll faced gal on it. I got my mom a hand bag similar to that one in Tlaquepaque next to Guadalajara, Mexico. 🙏🏻🇮🇳

for beautiful nature please take the toy train ride in South India. it runs from Mettupalayam station to Ooty (46 kms). it is a UNESCO World Heritage site and one beautiful ride.

WOW! That looks like lots of yummy food as well as so many beautiful views and even the train is pretty.
Many people say you need to go on the train ride in the winter to see all of the snow, but we were still super impressed with the views we saw when we went. Food in India is absolutely incredible. And way more affordable than trying to get quality Indian food outside of India. Thank you for your comment!
