@rickisunak Nah I think it's because he moved to different trainers so therefore he has become more vigilant and precise ,his movement, jab footwork all in one has changed.
@@rickisunak And probably Dubois' wins have been underplayed (Hrgovic because of the headbutts, and the lamping Dubois took in the first four rounds: Miller because Miller was not given his rightful win over Ruiz). Parker also doesn't hit like Zhang/Wilder can when they get it right.
It's true that heavyweights don't reach their prime until around their 30s... remarkable he was a world champ at 24(?) and Dubois was fighting Joyce at... can't even remember what age he was. That saying is so true.
If Dubois has overlooked Parker and Parker turns up in the kind of shape he has been for the last year or two, 100% he does a job on him and strips him of that belt.
Parker needs to box rings around Dubois and he will we win. I wouldn't be so keen on seeing him engage with Dubois..but lets see. Parker can bang but so can dubois and i could see Parker getting knocked out
@ Joyce was years ago and Daniel had a broken eye socket. You can’t hold that against a young fighter at the start of their career. Would you rather he’d kept boxing and been blinded and lost his career? Because listening to some people, that’s what they would have preferred. Crazy.
@@TheGreatest1974 it’s definitely not what I would’ve wanted no, but it shows there are heart flaws in there. I think he’s reached his career pinnacle with the Joshua KO. He’s overlooking Parker and it’s gonna cost him.
Wouldn't say it's that sure...the guy took leather from Zhang but Dubois isn't Zhang. Who knows if Dubois can tough it out against an incredibly tough fella like Parker...is my only reservation.
@ShahanAhmed-h5lthat is often the undoing of a lot of boxers. They believe their own hype. Not as focussed on their training. Not as focussed on their next opponent, too caught up in dreaming about the future. I could see Dubois not being mentally prepared for Parker.
Dubois looking past Joe, talking about his next fight, went from underconfident to thinking he's untouchable. A playbook we have seen 100 times before, I think Parker will win on points, might get dropped, but he is a much better technician than Dubois, and I'd even say his last 2 wins have been more impressive than Dubois last 2 wins.
Quality bloke Joe Parker. This is a great fight & im really looking forward to seeing this one.
Parker has become better as his aged ...like he says he's got love for the sport! Fair play to him...I hope he beats dubois
Do you remember when he wanted to quit before he 25? Sounds different now.
Reckon the Zhang and Wilder wins have flattered him though? Hmm (not saying they have).
@rickisunak Nah I think it's because he moved to different trainers so therefore he has become more vigilant and precise ,his movement, jab footwork all in one has changed.
@@rickisunak Probably, somewhat. They are not young dancers. Also, Dubois will be a lot fitter, and more constantly aggressive, that's for sure.

Go Joseph
Us Kiwi fans & Warriors are with you, spiritually & strength by supporting your journey of becoming time World CHAMPION
Kia Kaha brother.
Fight fire with fire, Joe, I believe in you.
I hope Parker humbles Dubois.
Dubois by KO, next.
Stop dreaming...
Feel like parker is better when he is active, and fighting 3 times a year. This spell of inactivity might be the undoing of him
Could be. I don't think he'll have been inactive for all that long, and will still have sparred and trained, etc.
Groves is pretty big
Even Charlie Zelenoff said this guy held his own in sparring 😊 tough nuts theese Kiwis
Thanks for posting this interview! Is the DBC Chairman's review of the fight accurate?
How tall is Joe I thought he was listed at 6ft4 and George 5ft11?
@ yup good fighter in his time fought some really good guys and got some solid wins

Dubois fought Joyce at 23 but I feel that same Dubois that faced Joyce could have beat the Andy Ruiz Parker Faced.

Parker won’t be given the option of out boxing Dubois. Dubois will get this over with quick.
@@TheGreatest1974 Lerena nearly wiped out Dubois in a round and Joyce jabbed his head off, his days at the top are limited.

@ ‘career pinnacle’ ? Age 27? That’s a bizarre comment.
Joe The Boxer.Lets go.
Joe is so up for this and he can beat DD 🥊
Dubois by KO, next.

Ain’t no stopping Dubois right now. He’s too hot.
