I’ve forgotten that the Shilka is actually a pretty good vehicle.. been playing too much ~10.0 where it gets bullied by guided missiles/bombs/heli ATGMs. Shame too, I absolutely love the thing. Maybe I should play more 8.0..

this thing at 8.0 has: ultra low profile, medium tank mobility, aicraft MGs resistant hull (4:30), ultra fast gun, search radar locking targets at 7,5 km and showing the lead indicator at 3,5 km distance, 2000 rounds available. cost: 3000 SL and you still have zsu 37-2 as a back-up sidam 25 at 8.3 (no other tanks in the lineup at 8.3) has: ultra high profile (i think is one of the most visible shits in the game), tier 3 mobility (can't even come up from the stairs in the middle east underground cap), dust resistant hull (even 7,62 sometimes kill you - the 4:30 part would have been a death for sure), mediocre guns with no utility at all agains any other tank, optical tracking system with 3km locking range and 2 km lead indicator (most planes have already spotted you at that time), 660 rounds available (60 of which in the "armour piercing" belt). cost: 14.000 SL this is a fair game, indeed

Looks like even with the AP belt it struggles to kill some stuff but overall it's actually good.

nuke you should try the zsu-37-2, it’s .3 br lower than the shilka and it’s ap belt is really good at killing tanks.
What ultimately gets you is jagged edges and angles, flat on this is about deadly as a 2S6 getting your side

This is extremely good against planes but only inside 1.5km. Shooting helis are really annoying in this especially when they park at exactly 2.5km
