Look up what area your grandmother's side lived. If they are true Blackfoot, they are from Canada, or in Montana by the border. Otherwise it is just Family Lore! May have an Indigenous ancestor hundreds of years ago, but only about to 1% or 2% if you are lucky.

What i got from this is, slavics killed the real blackfeet and took their names and resume their identities. ''Black'' feet represents what they saw themselves to be based on sight of another. Anger.....emotions. words. of expression. thanks youtube recommendations bringing me here.

Tracy, have your DNA done by Ancestry and discover Newfound family members. When you recieve your results, you can message these family members through the internal messaging members.
You can look at various family members ethnicity and see who has a higher percentage of Native blood. These family members are more likely to be carriers of language, culture and knowledge. Since DNA put you together, they will trust you more because you are family, even though extended. Good luck, Tracy!

They migrated from Canada. This cheif said it if you listen, he just described how they migrated back and forth.
They are not indigenous like we are and they are killing me with their stories. If you know America history, think about it.
Over hundreds and hundreds of years.
My name is James Earl Raven-ell "The Crow"and I am copper color.
I am born and raised in South Carolina in a very very very Indigenous environment...
