I just finished studying at Leeds and this video all ready got me feeling nostalgic, especially the shot at 6:48, that’s the street I lived on, would have walked past my house, right next to Popinas, and honestly that 24hr Sainsbury’s is a life saver.
This reminds me so much of when I moved into our second year flat a few weeks ago. Also small world my bf is starting second year at leeds and lives in the hyde park area too, so jelly of uol students though the campus is gorg. Hope you enjoy your second year
Hi Lydia, a quick tip for when your changing a lamp shade, sometimes you have to unscrew the bulb first and then the lamp shade will come off or go on! Hope this helps xx

Hope my second year is more successful than my first... I moved into my uni house 3rd of July, and promptly 3 weeks later i signed over my contrac t and moved out. Horrible situation with who i was living with. Now i'm going back to private halls because apparently i have no friends ahahaha

z t I graduated about three years ago now and the biggest piece of advice I can give you is to not let other people control how to do things, look up how to structure essay for uni as it’s quite different to high school essays (no one told me this!) and don’t be afraid to ask questions if you are struggling with anything...that last one especially is important, I didn’t realise how much I was struggling until it was too late so don’t be afraid to ask xx
z t no problem, I did uni so so wrong and I’d give anything to go back and redo it, so helping people who are just heading off is the next best thing 😊
Aw man this makes me want to be moving to Cardiff again already for my 2nd year as well. My tenancy for student accommodation doesn't start till September 9th so a little while to go yet x

Do u not use the tv in the living room? Using a laptop for Netflix is so small !!! Use an HDMI cable and put it from laptop to TV
