Those she relied on and trusted either died or betrayed her. She did not need to absolutely slaughter innocent lives especially innocent children that had nothing to do with the war. All she had to do was go straight to cerci if she wanted revenge so bad and watched as she burned. That’s ALL NONE OF THE REST WAS NEEDED AT ALL! She became just as bad as her father the mad king in the end. She lost herself completely and was given over to her emotions
I still can't get over her death. It's the most heartbreaking scene for me. The character I rooted so much because I can feel her struggles ended up being used by the people she thought love and care for her. If only she stayed in Essos and ruled there. :(

What Dragon actually burned was the iron throne. This was the bone of contention for the whole story, and Dragon is clearly and rightly enraged because this stupid thing took his mother away. Actually, I wish he had fried Jon Snow, too.
