Jamal Murray's game has matured over the years, the Nuggets look like they are strong contenders for the chip.

Denver was just unstoppable in this game. Definitely NBA finals material
Championship material.
For all the talk about "how will Denver guard Phoenix", the Suns also have to guard Denver, and their matchups on defense are a LOT less survivable than Denver's are the other way. Denver can live with KCP and Bruce Brown and sometimes Jamal on Devin Booker. They won't stop him, but they'll make him work. They can live with Aaron Gordon and sometimes MPJ and Jeff Green on KD. You won't stop him, but you just need to make him shoot from a bit further out, make it harder, be physical, and not overreact when he makes tough shots. That's all. The Suns meanwhile? If they put Torrey Craig on Jamal Murray (their best option there) it leads to rippling matchup issues down the line, like Devin Booker on MPJ (mismatch) or KD on Aaron Gordon (thats a lot of physicality for your best player to deal with). If they try to put Ayton on AG, that means KD is on Jokic which is not tenable. Guarding the Jokic-Murray pick and roll game is impossible as well - if they blitz Murray it means Jokic is in a 4 on 3 situation which is death. If they drop, Murray kills them. If they switch, Murray and Jokic both have mismatches. It's a nightmare scenario.
Also the Nuggets are going to win a lot of the key margins. Phoenix doesnt take many 3s - the Nuggets will take a lot of 3s. Phoenix doesnt rebound on either end that well - the Nuggets are an elite rebounding team and will crush the glass, leading to more possessions. Phoenix just also isn't a very physical team, despite all their talent. Torrey Craig is again kind of the only guy who is. Compared to what Denver dealt with last series against Minnesota, everything is easier for them offensively this series (Minnesota, while flawed, is VERY physical and presents a lot of matchup problems for Denver. Gobert is about as good as you can do on Jokic, KAT is extremely physical and enormous for AG and Jeff, NAW is a better defender than either Torrey Craig or Josh Okogie, and Anthony Edwards is a better athlete, better at getting to the rim, more physical player than Booker or CP3 are).
Finally a comment from someone that actually knows what he is talking about. I'd give you 50 likes if I could.
Denver is just a stacked team. They have more key contributors and more guys who can step up and be a star on any given night. Phoenix meanwhile, Booker and Durant have to have a huge game every night. Nobody else is going to do it for them. I don't see Phoenix winning this series unless Denver has a historic collapse

@@cjchillin7868 actually Brogdon Brown then Monk. Monk is the least consistent between three. But he has the highest ceiling I believe.
Don't think Phx played particularly bad here. Got what you would expect from Durant, Booker, Ayton, Paul offensively. Team didn't shoot the 3 great, but wasn't too horrid either. Point is, Phx played pretty close to where you would expect them, and still got their asses handed to them. Denver shot the 3 fairly well, but otherwise didn't shoot astronomically great. Just played well, better than their average, but not "a game for the ages" great. Could it be that, if both teams play relatively at a similar level, Denver is just the better team? Obviously, the remaining games will tell, but at least this first one was a much easier win for Denver than expected, again, considering that Phx didn't have a particularly terrible game.

My Lakers will once again reign supreme in this year’s playoff too many key pieces around AD and Lebron and think about this my Lakers had 26 blocks in the series against Memphis, easily the best defense left in these playoffs.

I don't deny that Denver's lineup is very strong, but I think the Lakers' lineup is very restrained. Unless the Kings or the Warriors eliminate the Lakers, I am not optimistic about the Nuggets winning the championship.

2 years ago when Paul and Booker talked ALOT of smack to Jokic and a Nuggets team that didn’t have Murray.
Murray’s healthy now and times have changed.
When Aaron Gordon and MP jr are your 3rd and 4th best players, your team is loaded. Not to mention Joker plays unselfish, team first basketball. Suns starters were gassed by the 4th quarter. Suns got not enough scorers from the bench, while nuggets loaded & deep.

After watching gsw vs kings series gsw has lots of ways to win any team . Gsw are faster and efficient than Lakers offensively.
The gsw didn't use J-green with kuminga vs kings but they will use them more in the Lakers series to help defensively
