    Can't say it enough, nothing burns quite like taking 4+ seconds to lower a weight, best pumps I've ever had.

    I used lighter weights to get through a plateau recently. I took a couple months and lowered the weight (but increased the reps and paid more attention to technique)…and went from using 70 pound dumbbells for bench pressing (and being unable to do a clean rep with 75s)…to now using 90s (got 14 clean reps today!!!!). So much value in taking a step back and focusing on the basics and letting the body progress. Love you guys, keep up the great work! 💪🏋️‍♂️❤️🤩

      Why go for heavy weight? Heavy weight is useless unless you intend for strength competition. For good looks, light weight build better looking physique

    I’ve been listening to the podcast for just about two years now and I’m so glad to have been able to get all this information at such a young age (19), and so early into my fitness journey, rather than having to figure it all out with time and experience. I feel genuinely lucky to be able to “grow up” with Mind Pump.
    I’m currently dealing with a few injuries that have impacted my day to day life and have found great help in the MPTV mobility videos, and especially the podcasts where you guys explain everything.
    I’m currently nursing a Torn ACL and LCL, a Grade 2 ankle sprain and tennis elbow with a side of ulnar nerve entrapment.
    Without the videos and information you guys give out I’d be in a much more painful state. Using your resources has really helped me to understand how my body works and how to improve my life in all areas. Thanks to you guys and your advice on sleep, exercise, nutrient and mental health I’ve been able to get my whole life together, and am building towards my long term goals at a steadier pace than ever! I feel like I can’t go a day without Mind Pump and when there isn’t a new podcast or video out, I always find myself enjoying one of the earlier ones!
    I have modified a version of MAPS Anabolic for my training and have been able to find substitutes that work for me thanks to you guys! Winning the Prime and Prime Pro would mean the world to me as I’m trying my best to work towards the optimal version of myself, and this bundle would really be like the missing puzzle piece that I just can’t afford to buy at the moment, due to reduced working hours because of my injuries and COVID.
    Thank you guys for everything you do! It really is life changing stuff that you guys are doing! Every morning I look in the mirror and say the Lord’s Prayer - “They don’t even know! They don’t even know!”

    Love that you guys talked about this on the podcast! I've recently done this shift in my exercise programming from a focused 5x5 to now incorporating some isolation exercises and I have seen tremendous results! Especially from a mobility standpoint since I'm trying to fix an old left knee injury, it has never felt so stable! This has also sparked my interest in Biomechanics and learning how to "make an exercise feel heavier without actually adding any weight" which has totally changed my mindset when it comes to training. Thanks for all you guys do!

    I am so glad I found you guys. Ive been listening for almost a year and I learn something new every single episode. This podcast saved me from a lifestyle of under eating, over exercising, and training the wrong way to build muscle with no focus on mobility. Since finding you guys I’ve switched from training 6 days a week HIIT style to 3 days a week following a MAPS program. I have seen so much progress and tremendous strength gains. You guys always release an episode for just what I need to hear. I know I need to focus more on mobility and proper movement patterns instead of just getting through the reps with higher weight and improper form. I feel like this episode called me out on my 💩 🤣
    I want to say thank you for providing information on how to move better, feel better, and create a healthy lifestyle around strength training. You all are the real MVP’S🙌
    Side note… my husband is a rancher, lifting heavy bags, tubs, pulling posts, building fence, etc. EVERY SINGLE DAY. And he is one of the strongest guys I know and he hasn’t lifted a weight since college. It just goes to show Sal’s comment on frequency/practice is true.

    I am a newly certified personal trainer, working on my correctional exercise specialist certification (that’s a mouth full…). Listening to you is like getting another certification in “uncommon common sense” for life and fitness.

    I just started MAPS Anabolic today. Got the RGB bundle and plan to run Performance and Aesthetic next, but I work in a factory that’s been breaking down my body over several years, and since listening to you guys, I’ve been trying to balance out my movements on both sides of my body at my job to correct and cope with some of the pain. But I would love to try Prime and Prime Pro to really feel my best again before I’m old and walking around the plant like Quasimodo

    Pause/ tempo reps are my favorite to add in a program to mix things up. Lighter weight and a very good pump.

    I was recently diagnosed with a slap tear in my left shoulder so I have started integrating corrective exercises into my weight lifting routine. I've went from lifting heavy for the past few months back down to lighter weight and I can tell a difference in my shoulder stability. I train at home so it's easier for me to go lighter and not worry about ego lifting. I'm still a lot stronger on my right side but I'm moving in the right direction.

    Reducing the chance of muscles taking over my laterals is why I prefer bands for lateral raises. Really nice peak contraction and pump too.

    I have heard from different trainers, boxing, CrossFit, gym, the differences in training both women and men. Yes, women are easier. With boxing, they don't just want to punch the hardest or Be able to knock someone out, they want to do all those things but with perfect technique. They'll obsess over foot work and technique first. Seen this in many different sports. But I do think we all fail at this, women and men. Esp women who like guys, have lifted heavier in the past, taken time off or suffered a set back and try and rush the comeback. Have been guilty of this myself. Great discussion..... Would love the giveaway.

    I do a mix, heavy to keep up with pure strength, and lighter to really feel the burn.

    Behind the neck lat pulldowns are actually awesome if you go super light and super slow. I treat them as a shoulder mobility exercise and squeeze my shoulder blades together as hard as I can the whole way through the concentric and eccentric with a pause with the bar on my neck.

    🙋‍♀️ former cardio bunny experiencing a major world life shift thanks to mind pump!! Literally never thought I would enjoy lifting (and NEVER less reps with higher weights, because you know, bulky arnold 🤣🤦‍♀️). Currently in phase 2 of anabolic and PR my deadlift today by 10 pounds! I think it’s a combination of several things- excellent programming, frequency of workouts/I can perform consistently and doesn’t leave me feeling wrecked every wod , and magic trigger sessions. I’ve recently been geeking out on the Jordan shallow/Adam series and ditching stretching for priming and mobility. I’m all the way down the mind pump rabbit hole 😂 I’m 3 months postpartum with my 3rd kid (I have a 5 year old and 3 year old) and it’s incredible what the anabolic program has done for my mind and body.

    Damn! I want that Prime Bundle. I’ve gotten some Mind Pump love on some of my previous comments, but I’ve never gotten the prize. So, let me try something a little weird. A few times I’ve commented that these all-fitness episodes are my favorites. Why’s that? Cause I don’t like your politics. But here’s the thing, and I know you guys are going to get this: just because I don’t like your politics doesn’t mean I don’t like you. Doesn’t mean I want you cancelled. And it sure doesn’t mean I don’t trust your fitness expertise. So, there it is. Obviously, I keep coming back. I keep commenting and supporting the channel. I’m going to keep coming back whether I get that sweet Prime Bundle or not. I’m going to keep coming back even when one of you says something about the government or society or whatever that I disagree with, and, in fact (and I know you’re going to get this too), I support your right to say it no matter how much I disagree with it.

    I've ssem all ;these kinds of peoples in thaw gym. Guys do all kin ds of crazy stuff in the name of training! But some of us appreciate the info you dole out. I use many of these methods you tell us about. And I've incorporated two of your exercises into my routine Is doubt will ever be dropped. They are both isolation exercises. And both have twisting motions. They are Arnolds press and Zottoman curls.

    I get a lot of hip pain issues squatting. Front of the hip. For some reason it’s worse high bar than low. No idea how to fix it even though I’ve had coaching. Prime and Prime Pro are both very appealing.

    Mind Pump made me realize mobility is so important. I consider myself pretty good at it, I have a lot of hip mobility at least and I've been trying to help my mother who is 65 and LACKS it completely. Now we kind of squat and scroll sometimes together: well I am scrolling, she's just complaining while doing it 😂

    I’m not sure if I listened to a recent podcast of y’all’s or an older one where y’all explained mobility, I really thought mobility was the same as flexibility 💀 I used to be a dancer and am super flexible and thought I could ignore mobility days and learned I need to incorporate it so the prime bundles would be super helpful for me 🤞🏻 (currently following anabolic)

    I'm a bloke but I seem to fit the description of Adam's female clients. 😆 I'm very afraid of getting a workout injury, esp a fracture or a muscle tear, and as such am very careful with my weights. I tend to err on the side of caution and never lifting my max potential.
    Oh well.

    I'd say 75% of male lifters lift too heavy unless they are training pure strength. You can build pretty impressive chest, front delts and triceps just doing push ups which are in the 20-50 rep range for most people! Same with body weight squats, 20+ reps per set consistently enough and you'll have some pretty impressive quads! I think people lift heavy for fewer reps because it hurts less!

      I’d agree people lift too heavy, but you aren’t looking jacked with just push ups and body weight squats, unless you are doing one arm/one leg variations. It just isn’t enough. Most people, trained or not can rep out 20 body weight squats easy. Also, a lot of skinny guys can do tons of push ups, but still not have much muscle at all, because of how light they are

    Power cleans are a bitch to learn with light weight. I remember being good at them in high school, but I've had to relearn them recently. I don't feel comfortable going heavy yet and can't even use enough weight to require a low catch.

    Ok. Im a personal trainer and I love to lift heavy. But this was helpful . Im getting to old..My birthday is Thursday the big 46 year's young..I train lots of middle age ladys..I dont make them lift heavy much..

    You have to lift heavy. That is relative to your own strength. I can do 70lb dumbbells for shoulder press 15 reps. Maybe you can do 80s for 15 or whatever it is. Go heavy.
