Nice concise video. In 17 minutes you covered the main points on getting a server up and running. On person suggested a VM of PBS. I thought of that as well but it's generally frowned upon because if PVE gets broken there is a large issue getting PBS up and running. If a separate computer isn't available the safer way of running PBS is to add the PBS repository to the PVE computer and use apt to install PBS along side of PVE, This is covered in the main PBS documentation. Once again a great video. in 11 minutes
I've been using pbs since version 6.x but still haven't been able to figure out how to create and use a datastore in my Truenas server. Thank you for posting, just subscribed!
Thank you very much. Just set up my server, (I don't have any knowledge of this, but it's fun) I run the backup server as a LXC on the server for storage I use a shared folder of my Desktop PC, as longs as it works, haha. I need to add some sort of script to check before backup if the shared folder is available before a backup, because the desktop pc won't be online 24/7. Nothing an AI can't spit out, x)
Another great video, thank you. With EXSi free gone, proxmox will continue to grow. Maybe set proxmox backup server as a virtual machine? Thanks again.

use backup from VE.
