  • I run 22 different US coins past the White's V3i in COIN mode (with Tone ID ON) so you can hear what they sound like and see what the various readings look like on the display.

This is awesome, just moved to a 40 acre property out in rural Georgia. There's an old shack, falling down on the property and near where our new home sits is the site where the original home used to be.. was told by the court in Monticello that this property used to be a plantation, I bought an extremely cheap metal detector to search , a 30 dollar one, lol and all it does is constantly ring.. I'd love to invest in a whites unit!

Could you please do a video on all of the coins you have and use polar plot or meter than we can see the 22.5 7.5 or 2.5 frequencies on each coin?

Nice video, I also have the V3i and use the 10x12 Ultimate coil. Wondering if you wash your coins? I wash all of them in a rock tumbler & ammonia. Works great. Nice tip on looking for construction site scrapes that you added. Thanks. I would like to see someone do an in depth comparison on jewelry and the v3i. V3i is a great coin machine, though haven't found much gold with it yet. I do think with all the tweaks you have on the v3i, there's a combination of settings that would allow you to cherry pick gold jewelry.

Good Video... I would like to see a video of this machine, V3i, showing junk targets... can-slaw, bottle caps, alum. cans, bits of foil and iron... pull tabs ect ect ect...and showing the target ID's and talk about why we dig them.

Hey Steve! How have you been? Don't know if you remember me but you and I detected together a couple times. I like your video.
I've been looking into the V3i and that's why I watched your video. Nice going bud. Nice to see you still detect.

    R.I.P. White's
I used a White's Spectrum XLT no problem for over 25 years. I sold it to upgrade to the this model, but never got around to it. Then they went out of business. 😪
I use my spare/loaner Tesoro (also out of biz), and Bounty Hunter for the time being. I miss White's, but they needed to lighten and slimline these models. I know people moan about water proofing them, but White's should have sleeked this model down first.
I wonder if Steve still detects?

BTW: I found at least one steel penny because my standard XLT search was to accept -40 thru +95 in disc search. Dig everything.

Yes, I still detect. Love my White's. Sad they went out of business.

@@stevelehto Yes. Very sad. Garret bought out some of White's tech.
I have been finding drained lake (to freeze out seaweed) silver (Mercs/Rosies) recently.
      Happy hunting Steve.
