Thank you for your effort in making this cool video! May I know how to save the text effect so that I can apply it with one click?
You can save the psd file and just double click on one of the Chrome Smart Object Layers (double click on the layer thumbnail). Then a text file should open where you can edit the text. Save the text file and go back to the main file. Now your new text should be visible with the effects.

Everything was fine until I start with Grandient Map, before selecting the dark pink, it turned all my image in dark grey and make the text grey too. I tried to find how to fix this but I found nothing.... :/

I always go to File-Export-Quick Export as PNG. It always works for me this way.

you have to remove the background from the png first, then paste the png with only the text/logo (with transparent background) in the smart object

You have to double click on one of the smart object thumbnails. Then the text file will open in a separate window.

Every time I add the gradient map my whole background and the rest of the images I have in my project have the colors that I chose for my text, does anyone know how to fix this?
If you look up „clipping mask“ for photoshop, you can use the gradient map to only effect the text layers

If you apply my chrome effect on the aespa text you will achieve a very similar style already. You only have to adjust the colors and settings a little bit

You can create a clipping mask, so the gradient map only effects the text layers
quick question. some how when i try to remake it from scratch it seems when i try to add layer styles it looks inverted. it worked for me the first time, and now it wont work is there a way to reset it? some how.
Did you try the ‚reset to default‘ button in the layer styles window?

Why when i click on gradient map it affects the background too?
The gradient map effect the whole image unless you use a clipping mask
when i add a gradient map it affects everything not just the text how can i change that
You can create a clipping mask by dragging the clipping mask layer above the text layer and holding alt on your keyboard and left click on the gradient layer

You have to group all the text layers first, then make the gradient a clipping mask to the text group by pressing alt on your keyboard and left clicking on the gradient layer.

How do I move this to illustrator after creating it?
The file is not an illustration, it is a pixel based file so you cannot edit the file as in illustration in Adobe Illustrator. You can just export the image as a PNG and use it this way in Illustrator.

literally have 0 photoshop knowledge. How do I change the text? I downloaded the template
Right click on one of the chrome layers, select edit contents. Now the text file should open. Here you can change the text with the text tool. After saving the file you can return to the main file and the text will be changed.
