As much as I love Sia and completely respect her decision to maintain her anonymity for personal reasons (I find it brilliant, actually), the lyrics to this parody are fucking golden. I know that Sia's performance and video styles are not for everyone, and it's a pretty easy joke to make. This was actually funny and well-made, though. I don't think the creator is trying to deny Sia's talent as a singer and songwriter, and this just seems like a silly spoof. She is such an underrated artist and visionary, in my humble opinion, and I think the intent of this video can be misconstrued by her *very* loyal fan-base..
how is she underrated, everyone knows sia and likes her music. If youre comparing her to taylor swift or Justin Bieber then yea..
redeyedot I think people underestimate her songwriting, video concept and directing skills. I'm slayed by anything she does. I would love to hear more of her songs on the radio. To me, she's on the same talent level as Adele. I know that's subjective, but I definitely feel that Adele gets more praise for her artistry than Sia ever has. They're both brilliant, though.

They've done other parodies like this for other artists and I don't see you complaining about them. All they did was take what Sia is known for doing now because she doesn't want the spotlight on her. She's trying to keep a low profile. They took that and imagined if she was in the studio recording.
I don't understand why people are getting so butthurt over something that is completely harmless. I'm pretty sure if Sia saw this, she'd be laughing her ass off.
It's ironic because she's gained more popularity because of this.

All they did was have the guy in the control room try to record Sia, but he didn't understand why she had to constantly cover her face, which was frustrating for him, which led to Sia finally coming out.... Which turned out to be Pitbull.
I don't see any reason to think this is rude.
Some people just can't take a joke. It is hard to be famous and not want to be famous, which is one reason people find Sia amusing.

I am a huge Maddie and Sia fan. To me their music videos have set the bar. That being said, unlike that Bart parody which was just mean and nasty in its implications, this one is truly funny.
