To be a pastor means he has undergone a series of trainings, written exams etc. The message title is "Attempt great things for God" and the pastor in question said "Attempt to do great things for God". I am quite sure that for a normal church member Bishop would have overlooked this. Its very evident from the pastor's reaction, delay in answering and his reponse that he probably was lying, is not well trained or is just not following what has been committed to him. A pastor should know the basics of the church he is in. Lets bear in mind that this title is on the book Bishop authored and on the message he preached. These are materials a lighthouse pastor devours to even write exams on. These measures are sometimes put in place by church leaders to control the preaching of erroneous messages by younger pastor. I see nothing wrong with what Bishop said.

Who certified the pastor in the first place? If Dag Heward Mills did, then he should bear the consequences of his own recruitment. If the identity of the man in question is referred to as junior pastor, then Dag should know that he is in such a state. Psychologically, you could see that the guy was not ready from his first statement. Allowing him to further study to become a pastor again will clear the shame caused. Honestly, there is more to it.

That was a Pastor’s conference not a regular church service. And that is not the first love church! But let be objective about this ok… if you are representing even a company and in front of a lot of people, a board, a meeting…etc, and you are asked a question about your company or the services you provide or even, your core values… and you stand there for more than 30s/1min without saying anything… Tell us what the company owner will think of you or the people at the meeting/conference…

There is obviously more to the whole conversation than what is shown. Apparently the young Pastor was not fully walking in character and accountability of the office he is walking in. I believe Bishop was correct in reprimanding him amongst his peers. This will cause others to take their calling more serious. God holds us accountable for the calling on our lives and we must be able to give an answer for what we believe at all times. Of course none of us is perfect therefore this is an opportunity for Bishop and other leaders to assist the young Pastor and put him on the right path in order to accomplish the call.

Capture a video of the churches he has built through the Pandemic when many churches collapsed, take a video of crusades that He is running here and there, of people who are giving their lives to CHRIST and post it. In Revelation The Lord had not rebuked the church members, but the angels of those churches which are the pastors. Every church has its way of doing things, the Lord makes covenant with the leader, and you don't want to follow a certain leader, ask him or her to leave in a peaceable way then he will release you.

Who certified the pastor in the first place?
If Dag Heward Mills did, then he should bear the consequences of his own recruitment.
If the identity of the man in question is referred to as junior pastor, then Dag should know that he is in such a state.

There is obviously more to the whole conversation than what is shown. Apparently the young Pastor was not fully walking in character and accountability of the office he is walking in. I believe Bishop was correct in reprimanding him amongst his peers. This will cause others to take their calling more serious. God holds us accountable for the calling on our lives and we must be able to give an answer for what we believe at all times. Of course none of us is perfect therefore this is an opportunity for Bishop and other leaders to assist the young Pastor and put him on the right path in order to accomplish the call.
