It's time for part 2 of my "downed pilot immersion challenge" with both ground and air load-outs suggested by you guys! I also did you all the favor of avoiding any attempts to pronounce "Luftwaffe" again.
Played against you in the first match, saw your name on the feed and was wondering what video you were working on. Edit: A pal in my squad was on the receiving end of that 200m drilling shot. He was in disbelief 😂
"I really wish this team had team swapping" Literally the only reason why I no longer play Grand Operations, I can be having fun and synergizing with the team then the game decides "No, you can't have fun. Be on the other team to help them win." But the players the other team has are just so bad that not even the three best players of this game can fix it, the best you could do for the losing team is a managed loss.
The M30 drilling was a technological freak back in the war. Not only did it have 3 barrels, one was also for a rifle round. Must have been a treat to use one in world war 2
M30 drilling is actually an old elephant hunting rifle design. That's why it features two separate calibers of cartridges the rifle round was used to Crack the skull while two larger caliber slugs would deliver the killing blow. Hence why when used verses a human it=deletions

Actually ended up buying an M30 drilling cost me a pretty penny too and frankly it’s a beautiful and fun gun also a rather interesting conversation starter unfortunately due to the fact it still has the luftwaffe symbol still on it kicks like a friggen mule to 😅
I was playing as Siegfried yesterday and I was like “Wait. Isn’t he a luftwaffe veteran?” So I checked his description and he was. It reminded me of this video so then I had to pull out the M30 Drilling. I think the round ended with a 48/19 K/D or something 😅. The fully upgraded (left side) has some great buckshot range and as usual I didn’t get any headshot kills with the rifle round😂
I thought they stopped developing new stuff for this last summer. I didn't see those pilot outfits before, is there other new things since last summer, besides the pilots? Love your videos!

Torso: Squared Away Legs: Leatherneck Faction: Japan Class: Recon Primary: Type 99 (standard skin with iron sights, I’d recommend using the specialization that gives you better rate of fire) Sidearm: Type 94 Grenade: Frag Gadget 1: None Gadget 2: None Headgear: Assembled or Jungle Viper Torso: High Tide (Wild Animal if using Jungle Viper headgear and Breakwater legs) Legs: Breakwater or Assembled
On console you can switch teams by going to the scoreboard going to the opposite team clicking on someone's profile and going to join game. It'll throw you in their squad if they have room.
It would have been cool if DICE could have made it a different loadout for each faction. So a M30 and P38 for the Wermacht, Sten and Webley for the brits, M3 and a 1911 for the US and a Nambu Type 100 and a type 94 for the japanese Empire. Just a little detail but ut would have been kinda cool.
Honestly with assault being the go to for infantry armor destruction, I question why they even bothered giving the support that dinky little ap grenade. All you do is alert the tank where to aim at you after you fire the first shot
It's a good form of mid range harassment if you don't want to risk your life with the plunger or just don't like the AT mines. Plus it's a decent substitute for the kampfpistole if you don't like the fuse time. The Assault is made for vehicle destruction but the rest of the classes have their own AT capability. The Support is just a close second.
Of course, when you get back to hq, you will be tried for war crimes for using a shotgun on enemies (germans didnt think shotguns should be allowed in combat)
I consistently get put on the same team on every map. Don’t remember the last time I’ve gotten wake as the Japanese. Americans on panzerstorm. Brits on Rotterdam. Japanese on Iwo. It also feels like I play the exact same game over and over because balancing is still so awful. This game is good fun but really just such a disappointment 😔

i still really hate the fact that you cant swap teams in bf 5 , i really want to max out the german tanks and airplanes but i always get the allies , i went for the tanks first but i usually played with what i got ( planes , tanks )

the drilling was issued as a survival weapon for getting food not a combat one. Wasn't handed out as "trophy" weapons.

I've heard conflicting reports about if they actually used the drilling because of how germans viewed shotguns in wartime.

First problem, right off the bat: you would have a primary weapon, you would be stuck with a sidearm if you even had it, which I doubt you would.
You're actually not allowed to fire the rifle bullet at enemy soldiers due to international law.
