Okay guys so while I typically don't post on a Tuesday - that might change - at least sometime! As much as I love having themes and certain days for certain videos, I also want a little more freedom and flexibility to add more videos when I have the time and energy. Amazing song from an incredibly talented and young band. Have to say this is my favorite of the three songs released so far.
By the time the dust settled after building the chorus of background vocals and other ear candy, this song ended up having over 400 tracks. Shoutout to Jordan at Oodelally studios.

I see a great future for this band. They have everything it takes vocals, guitar, bass, drums, lyrics, dedication, and attitude. They have worked incredibly hard to get here and they deserve everything coming to them. They are one of several new young rock bands bringing rock back for this generation. One Left Standing was my gateway song into the rabbit hole. There is a live version From Crown And Thieves and was created to participate in a school function. The new version is even better if that is possible.
There are also 2 songs that didn't make album called Thrones and Insomnia. Insomnia was the 1st song they wrote together and the beginning of all of this. They are still going to play them live so we are going to have to see what changes there too.

Great to see you reacting to FTF again, they deserve all of the recognition they can get! Their songwriting and musicianship is outstanding regardless of their age, can’t wait to hear the rest of the EP!
Edit: there’s a Hardknox1917 who follows the around to every reaction and puts disparaging comments about them, not a very nice person!

I'd have to say "Daughters of Witches" is my favorite, but this one is a close second. 2 more videos from the debut EP yet to be posted, looking forward to seeing those when they come out.

This is the first song they wrote together as a band. It did not make it onto the EP, so there won't be a music video for it. The videos from their performance at Crown and Thieves are all pretty good. While not professional production quality, they are not just cell phone videos, and there are different camera views. There are earlier versions of Daughters of Witches, and Masquerade. There are lyrical and compositional differences between these and the versions on the EP. One Left Standing is on the EP, but the video has not been released yet. 46 is the other original they performed at Crown and Thieves.
Enjoyed your review and analysis. Freeze The Fall does have really great lyrics. I feel really lucky to have found them so early, and have been able to follow along as they go on their musical journey.
My hope beyond all hope...that these talented musicians get an invite from The Warning to play with them!!!
That would be so fun!
I think that would be great for them, both on and off stage. The Warning are a class act and great people.

TWA and Cold Front in Da House.I actually found FTF back when you could mainly just find live performances on not the best of cell phones,but I had a feeling with a little help like their Kickstarter campaign this band could really go places,and I can see that with these videos that have come out off their new EP.Keep practicing and you only go up.Keep Rockin Quinn,Aria and Jonah!!

Imo, young bands need to get out and play live in front of a crowd. Figure out how to perform and sound good live, how to generate excitement and feed off the crowd's energy, how to deal with mistakes, equipment mishaps, etc. FTF has been doing that and does a great job. And clearly they're nailing the mv thing too!!! Thanks for continuing to support them, Nikki! ❄️🤘❄️

I know of 5 gigs that they're playing in the next 3 months. I'll be at three of them.

I am! I went to this event last year. Attendance was estimated at 175,000. It's 50 bands across 7 stages, 10 city blocks long. Planning to see them twice more this summer, once here in August and once back in their area with Proper Man.

@@brentkelsay3439 They're playing at 6:30 p.m., in nearly the center of it all. They should have great exposure.
There is a TON of raw talent here, but they need better audio mixing... These vocals sound like there were wool socks over the mics. Their vocals are buried in the mix. The drumming, guitar work, and bass are well arranged and played, but the vocals are un-crisp. A lot of young bands struggle with this... Vocal articulation requires the right mic, the right EQ, the right gain staging and compression strategy, all tailored to each voice. It takes a lot of time and coaching, but it's worth it. There is also the matter of placing the vocals in parts of the spectrum NOT occupied by the instrumentation. I'm no expert on this, but I know great audio when I hear it. FTF need technical assistance. They write well, but I don't want to read a lyric sheet. I want to hear the lyrics as I hear the song. I hope they get some coaching about this from their new label. They're too good to not be heard.

@@DarrellW_UK I have no issues with any other band’s audio on Nikki’s channel. I have had the same issue hearing FTF vocals on several other reactors’ channels.
