quick movement tip for everyone (including u phil). so take your keybind that you use for crouching and bind it to slide, then delete the bind from crouch. this will allow you to slide jump while being ads'd and fixes the random problem where you might not gain speed from scyth tripmine tech. this also means that when you press your crouch button, you will slide even if you are standing still, and this helps with the cone tech too. tell me if this helps yall
I've been told to do this before but I figured that It would take a while for me to get used to, and I'm already running my norm keybinds fine lol. But for new players its 100% recommended!
3:45 If you have a melee out (let's say knife) and left click, doing the regular ability for that melee, then, timing it perfectly, you can quick utility your satchel, exploding it instantly and boosting you forward. Do this with all 3 of your ammo, and with your knife, clip someone with a 2-seconds-into-the-round backstab (: 2:10 You can pair this with the war horn to make you go almost twice as far if done correctly. Pair this with an AR or Sniper on arena while the other person is on their ramp, and you get an ATTACK HELICOPTER!! The only thing is it is very hard to aim while you do this as you are going at insane speeds. This goes for the Battle Axe Ramp Jump, and the regular Ramp Jump.
Ur the goat bro. Nice movement guide am not sure if i could do all but that’s fine i can practice. I can def do the docks slide and the scythe into tripmine thingy
DISABLE EASY SLIDE I like movement tech. Here are some fun tech I found that weren't covered in the video, hope this helps someone. Fast Fall: Crouching in midair can make you fall faster midair which can help with tricky movement and being unpredictable, especially after rocket jumping or during slide jumps to hit the ground faster and start a new slide jump. Only works if you do it a bit after you leave the ground, otherwise you don't seem to fall faster. Speed Climb: You can't jump off ladders normally, but if you were previously holding the jump button before hitting the ladder you can keep holding to rapidly hop up the ladder. This gives you more control going up the ladder and lets you climb it faster. It seems for some reason sometimes you can do this tech at any time, not just holding before hitting the ladder. Probably a glitch. Ladder Flick: Named it after the classic Roblox truss tech; if you flick your camera to the side and hold to the same side before releasing forward while going up it you can gain some upwards momentum and give yourself a small boost off the ladder, or climb ladders less predictably. You can chain multiple of these on one ladder going left and right to make yourself a harder target. This is a very good setup into a ladder hold if you have already touched the ladder- do a ladder flick, hold space in midair then get back on the ladder. Ladder Jump: You can't jump off ladders normally, but you can slide jump off of them. This one is simple. Wall Skid: By moving diagonally into a wall in midair and crouching, you can slide along the wall to gain more airtime and mix up your movement. Skid: Unsure if you covered this in-depth in the video, but for a short period after jumping or explosion boosting yourself into the air [including double jump] you will not stand on surfaces as normal. You will just slide off of them in the movement direction [not down a slope, but up a slope if you are moving towards it]. This can be used in various ways for tricky movement, retaining momentum whilst "standing" grounded, and also gaining some verticality. Can be used with fast fall to make the most of this period. Momentum Storage: With a combination of C4 battle axe, C4 scythe or C4 gunblade, you can perform this trick [Doable with other explosives, but less consistent. Figure out what works for you, all explosives and momentum-stopping dash mechanics work]. When you are hit with an explosion in the middle of a dash, the momentum is stored and you are given all the momentum in the movement direction a few seconds after if in midair [probably depends on ping]. To do this consistently, lay a c4 just behind where you are dashing to. With gunblade or scythe, hit the C4 with an attack then immediately dash towards it [and usually up, for airtime] then stay in the air until the boost activates. [BONUS TIP: Gunblade transforms when hitting c4 or barrels. From what I can tell, anything that gives you a hitmarker and does damage.] With battle axe, simply spin towards the c4, then stay in the air until the boost activates. This can be used with a battle axe boost [further detail later]. Combos well with wall skid and other methods of staying airborne. The boost is much more controllable and sometimes faster than a regular C4 jump. For the battle axe, you covered the slope boost, but I've found 2 or 3 more types: Ledge: If there is a ledge of the correct height, you can ability into it and hold space at the right timing. Lineup, space timing and height gained vary depending on the ledge. Gap: Not sure on this one, it may just be another ledge boost but it seems you can get the most powerful boost if you ability and hold space into a ledge with a small gap underneath it- you seem to get flung upwards much more than the other boosts. Very useful on the roofs on Docks and Station. Ladder: If you ability into the top of a ladder and hold space, you can fling yourself upwards. I've found 4 consistent setups for this in different situations, although sometimes like on Station roof ladder you can just do it from standing without a setup. Setup 1: Ladder jump and release all movement keys near the top of the ladder, then when your hips are lined up with the top of the ladder use the ability and hold space. Setup 2: Ladder flick and look back towards the ladder, when your hips are lined up with the top of the ladder use the ability and hold space. Setup 3: From the top of the ladder, jump backwards and crouch to fast fall. When your hips are lined up with the top of the ladder, use the ability and hold space. Setup 4: The fastest and probably most consistent, but requires you to be previously climbing the ladder beforehand. When at the top of a ladder using Speed Climb, use the ability and hold space. This is very fast and likely to catch opponents off-guard. BONUS: C4: If you have C4, you can do a stronger battle axe boost by planting a c4 in the right place, then doing a regular battle axe boost and hitting the c4 with the battle axe spin. You will gain the height of the battle axe boost as well as momentum storage from the C4, being activated shortly after high in the air. Daggers highly recommended to take full advantage of the C4 momentum and to double jump and stay in the air. Scythe: Standing Storage: When dashing off of the ground, you are still counted as grounded until the dash ends. Air-slide: You can cancel a dash from the ground with a slide using standing storage, and this slide will have full control of your movement direction for the duration- useful for offsetting your hitbox and mixing up movement. Can be extended by falling off ledges. Anvil: You can combo an Air-slide with a Momentum Delay [hit c4, dash up, Air-slide] to plummet like an anvil when the momentum is activated. The falling can be staggered by hitting into walls, mixing up movement. Very niche, but can be useful to quickly get down from high places without being shot [construction crane perhaps]. Also just very fun lol. SOME USEFUL MAP-SPECIFIC TECH: The most useful ledge boost I've found is on Docks. On one of the spawns you start near some crates and a barrel- If you walk to the opposite sides of the crates and barrels and push yourself sideways [facing to the right of your direction from spawn] into the corner between the wall and pole on the corner of the wall on the side of the crates, and look at the corner in between the crates in front of you, then hold spacebar and the battle axe ability at almost the same time [space bar ever so slightly before] you will be launched on the crates. You can then equip a double jump weapon and jump farther, like on to the roof behind you. This is much faster than climbing the ladder and can give you a head start. Can use other movement options afterwards for more distance. Also on docks, from the other spawn you can Ladder+C4 boost on the ladder to your left with battle axe to fly all the way across the map. Speed Climb battle axe boost recommended. Also on docks, from the same spawn as Ladder+C4, you can begin cooking a grenade from spawn and backwards slide jump on the slope towards the ledge next to the slope and grenade boost straight to the enemy spawn/roofs. Unsure whether it is a Ledge boost, a gap boost, or even a ladder boost where you start the climbing animation on a non-ladder, but on Crossroads on the small bridge from a rock near underground spawn just outside one of the exits, you can ability into the bridge and hold space for a fling that is very useful to get on the tall tower quickly [most consistent setup: stand on the middle of the rock on the side of the hill next to bridge on cave spawn side, aim to the right of the icicle on the bridge or just near the pillar to the right of the icicle, ability and hold space when you go airborne. WILL FINISH WRITING LATER GTG FOR NOW, MORE TECH TO COME
