this looks mint i found MX-GT90 and owner said it was in box for years and was lucky enough to find it in my city. the only LARGEST northern city on the whole hemisphere Edmonton! i Paid 320 cash tweeters are not pushed in the giga inside foam is still intact afew scrapes but its looks like i jus bought it at radio shack in the year 2001 when i first layed eyes on the puppy ❤❤❤❤❤❤

Sadly all of JVC early 2000, models especially with their whole line up of this compact units systems all got discontinued and yes indeed are extremely, if not difficult, rare to find any of them in mint condition.😢
Cool unboxing!!! Glad you were able to get one! It sounded like something is broken or loose from shipping though in the sound test🤔 also I recommend getting some replacement foam for the ports, I found a really good foam that's just like the original
Thank you. If you are referring to the rattling noise, that’s just the front left speaker window. It’s a minor issue, and sounds pretty cool actually. That said the stereo is pretty much close to brand new. Yeah if you could link that foam, that would be nice, I do need to replace mine.
@@unboxthisreviewthatofficial you can try unscrewing and moving the front part a bit to see if the rattling stops, it must have gotten bumped a little in shipping and yeah let me get the link to the foam

Oh, that JVC mini system was perhaps the best sounding systems of its era compared to other brands amd definitely way better sounding compared to newer JBL speakers and have an insane bass. I do have an MX-GA8V and MX-G950V and I would say it’s 10x better and louder bass compared to already decent JBL PartyBox100 with Bass Boost Turned on
I just picked up a set of the speakers for $7 at the thrift store thats how I ended up here. The receiver unfortunately was nowhere in sight. Now I've got to find an amp that will drive these awesome speakers.
I used to owned JVC MX J900 back on 2004, and that bad boy have an extended extreme bass that will definitely knock picture frames off the wall and I mean that literally.

Would you consider selling this? I bought my Son one 15 years ago, for his 16th birthday and my stereo system bit the dust. I'm fighting Breast Cancer 🎀 right now and music is therapy to me. I'm in Pennsylvania. Please let me know.
