i had never used mr. bones nor seen mr. bones be activated until this video, i had NO idea that it straight up pushes you through the blind if you meet the condition! i assumed it gave you like. 1 extra hand or something lmao
I’ve been wondering this too. Only thing that makes sense to me is that he thought he couldn’t ecto because all his stencils were poly and the chad was negative. Ecto would’ve hit banana, which would’ve made his x mult go from 192 to 375, if my brain is working. Which I think would’ve been pretty significant at that point in the run. But I figure I must be missing something if not only Roffle missed it but nobody in the chat pointed it out.
Why don’t you fill up the joker slots even if it’s a random joker that you can sell? Wouldn’t it be better to have all 5 (more if negative) than to have slots open?? I’m a new balatro player so excuse me if it’s an obvious reason 😂
Just a small thing; for people that hasn't played the game a lot, you go over the cards REALLY fast, to the point where I have to play the play-pause game just to see what your card does. Hovering over for a small extra period of time might allow players like me to understand better what's going on.
The runs he’s doing (gold stake endless runs) are not for people who have just started balatro and need to learn. If you want to learn what cards do and how to get better yourself Balatro University is fantastic for that.

With how often Hex cropped up, I wonder if you would've gotten Ectos or Ankhs if you bought the first one that showed up and just held onto it

It's a vanilla feature! It should be in settings in-game somewhere. I used it for a bit when collecting gold stickers.
