I was aware of the line “you know the hearts of men and STILL you let them live!” How merciful you are father God to all of us who do not deserve what do you give us father. If you gave us what we really deserved God, we would all be in hell. Thank you for your kindness and long-suffering, and the gift of your precious son Jesus Christ.
That line absolutely hit me. We humans have wicked hearts and the Lord knows everything that dwell on them. And by His infinite grace and mercy He chooses not to erradicate us even though we deserve it.
Shane and Shane came to our church a week ago. This song hit just right. Everybody just rose to their feet and lifted hands as one. Such a powerful song, it really lets me know how big God is and how confident I can be with Him on my side.

My heart alights upon mere note stepping stones. However, you have blended high praise onto the steps. And by it, it feels like an open portal to see heavenly hosts bowing down to the Lamb of God. I see banners on all sides, representing sheep nations who have armor bearers and cupbearers, and hosts of servants to royalty with shields up, some down on one knee. I see fierce warriors/guards upon the periphery, who have sworn by their sleeve their devotion to the Son of Man. They send battalions to war.
