Wow, I take BJJ and I wondered why my Coache’s Kata Gatame looked so different from all the head and arm triangles I’ve seen other people do in BJJ. Now, I realize he does it the Judo way! He also has a black belt in Judo so it makes sense.

In yoko-shiho-gatame first the tori put the uki head under his armpit plus he was graping the belt from under the shoulder, but when they switch the role tori become uki and the opposite, tori put his arm under the head of uki and he grap the belt from under the leg, any expalanation for that?

Just depends on what you can grab. Skirt is good. Belt is better.
