A lot of people today find their self worth based on Likes and what they show online, and if that was suddenly taken away from them, they wouldn't know what to do. Instead of looking into the phone, they'd have to look into the mirror and their distorted reality will crumble. Alhumdulilah for Islam. It shows us what is truly important in this short life, and how to focus first on our deeds and actions.

Just make sure whatever Islamic speakers you’re taking knowledge from are upon sound creed. Islam is simple. We follow the Quran and sunnah of the prophet, according to the understanding of the prophet’s companions and the two generations after them, known in Arabic as the salaf. This is based on a hadith of the prophet.
The prophet also mentioned that the Muslim ummah will spilt up into 73 sects, all of them will be destined for hellfire except one, which is the one that he and his companions were upon, so it’s a very serious matter sister.
Many of the well known “Islamic speakers” today in the English speaking world have a corrupted aqidah in regards to Allahs Names and attributes and so on.
I advise you to have a look at the DUS Dawah youtube channel, they are based in London and are upon the true salafi aqidah.
I’m extremely happy for you sister, that you have have this beautiful religion. May Allah bless you and keep you firm and protect you from going astray.
