Custom jobs are a PITA, I used to do custom leather work and I always got a 50% deposit. You cannot easily reuse leather, you're fortunate the gold and gems can be reused.
Reason why I can't buy jewelry, for the percentage that's actually gold and the amount the shop keeps since will its pounding, grounding, molding the gold to a beautiful piece costing like 100% of gold value, I love the insight because it information and well its outthere we just need to find and and be okay with purchasing gold, I'm in coins now got me 3 nothing major but going to start staking gold bars and coins
