I used to ask Mitch to sing “She Asked Me How” every time I went to his shows. I asked him so much, that when he’d see me, he’d just add it in his play list! What a song. It still remains my #1 Mitch song. Thank you Joe so much for this interview & podcast. That was fantastic on several levels.
My Father told me to tell everyone that Rich Mullins was the Eagle. He graduated Magna cum laude with an advanced degree in Native American Studies. In the Rainbow, the Eagle means the Holy Spirit. It went from Keith Green to Rich to me according to my Father. Rich must of been an OX for that to happen. Very interesting. I loved him. He was one of the loves of my life. Anyway, that's a true story. I hope that makes someone feel good.
Here's the thing. The first time I saw Rich in concert, he basically talked about struggles with masturbation. I read No Compromise, Keith Green's biography about 5 times, and he talked about masturbation. What is it with OX's?!?!
Here's the guy who wrote Awesome God, talking about masturbation. Suddenly I wasn't alone, and I felt like maybe there was hope for me. It's like Rich told this mountain to move, and the mountain just moved out of my way. That's what I think about when I think about Rich.

In loving memory of Rich Mullins ♥️✝️♥️ God bless his soul
Really enjoyable, loved the anecdotes, and agree Mitch's version of 'Wounds of Love' is awesome!
Love this. Thanks Joe. I really enjoyed it ❤
