For all wondering why I did not include the clip of Logano spinning out Kenseth is due to the fact of copyright issues. Idk why it’s fine for one video but not this one. Anyways, enjoy the video and know that the one in two weeks will be one of the best ones yet.

I remember Martinsville 2015 and rushing down the stairs to tell my dad and uncle (watching football) that Matt Kenseth just dumped Joey Logano and Jeff Gordon is leading! They were so surprised that they changed the channel over to the race.

Sadly, none of those wins were from Kasey Kahne. But Martinsville and Texas were poetic justice races.

    •  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

Scuderia Kasey Dixon Yeah, Gordon and Johnson winning while Harvick, Truex and Busch got the points they needed to keep Logano out. And Jimmie winning Texas kept Brad out as well. Heck, Phoenix being won by Jr, put the nail in the coffin for Penske that year. I think 2018 was karma or whatever coming back around for Penske. I still think Brad might have intentionally caused that final caution with Suarez though.

I will say this...never would I thought Kenseth will inadvertently help Gordon win by taking out Logano after the six years of beef they had (2006-2012). I was happy for Gordon taking the lead because of his mess, not the wreck itself. Would Gordon have beaten Logano? Who knows, but that helped him big time.

@@Huddle_House56 sounds like you got a personal beef because your prima dona Hendrick drivers don't like being raced hard. 2012, on the other hand, Jimmie Johnson was literally on his way to his 6th title before the blown tire in Phoenix. Following that up with a blown rear end in Homestead, and Jimmie came up just short.

I get goosebumps every time I watch one of these. Good work man. Even though logano had a strong season in 2015 he was second or third best. Harvick was super consistent and probably would've won the championship if wasn't for the chase. But instead a guy that misses 50% of the season goes on to win the championship which makes the sport look like a joke. And im no kyle Busch hater. I actually like the guy but he didn't deserve that championship.

The Jeff Gordon/Clint Bowyer Saga 3 Years Prior was The Prequel to The Matt Kenseth/Joey Logano Saga because Logano (Driving the 20 Toyota Camry for Joe Gibbs Racing with Dollar General as the sponsor) was the driver wiped out in Gordon's retaliation against Bowyer in The Infamous Phoenix Race which Foreshadowed Kenseth kamikazing Logano into the Turn 1 Wall at Martinsville (The Very Same Track & Very Same Corner that sparked The Gordon/Bowyer Saga resulting in The Infamous Phoenix Race 7 months later) as retaliation for the Kansas race 2 weeks prior resulting in Gordon's 93rd and Final Career Win

Great video, 2015 was Logano's best season and it was a shame he couldn't get the championship. However, Logano did have 14 laps to pass Kenseth at Kansas and probably would have gotten past him ultimately as he had fresher tires and more pace so the Kansas spinning of Matt Kenseth probably didn't need to happen. On the morning of the Martinsville race, Kyle Busch warned Joey that Matt Kenseth was going to get him, I don't know if Joey took the warning seriously because if he did, he may have passed Kenseth in a corner or moved him out of the way so this wouldn't have happened. Still both Kansas and Martinsville robbed us of the chance of seeing an on form Matt Kenseth and Joey Logano fight for the championship in Miami, which may have been a fantastic race.

People saying the format sucks. Well it fucking exists so get over it. Yes, Harvick had the most consistency and would have won but since the Playoff Format exists, he didn’t. Logano obviously had the championship won. And if you ask me, I don’t think he did anything wrong. Kansas is such a stupid reason for hating Joey. He dumped Matt for a perfectly valid reason. It wasn’t even a block by Kenseth, he just ran the #22 into the wall. I don’t think any other driver would have passed Matt without wrecking him. And you gotta love that Matt can’t even admit to flat out taking Logano out of the race and championship at Martinsville. He “blamed it on a flat right front tire.” Matt Kenseth was a total piece of shit in 2015 and I’m so glad he was out of his ride for Gibbs.

2015 was not for Logano... 2015 is a missing ring for Harvick.

They should've done the park your wrecked race car rule after Edwards sent Keselowski into the stands at Atlanta. If that rule was in place, Kenseth would've been parked and Legano wins at Martinsville and probably the championship. Oh well, I'm happy Kyle got the championship, though under the original format, that would've been impossible without a points reset. NASCAR should've done the 1 PT. Per position change back in the 90's and the no wreckeded race car rule.

The Larson Fan 8842 Nope it was Keselowski. If Keselowski doesn’t wreck Kenseth at Martinsville, Kenseth doesn’t wreck Logano.

Kenny Powers He choke dude. After that wreck off of a Turn 2, I already knew at that point that Logano wasn’t going to make it out of Martinsville with a win. I still can’t believe the idiot really thought Kenseth wasn’t going to do anything.

how about Dale Jr. 2014? he had 4 wins and was in the top 6 in points every week until he wrecked at Kansas, including 3 instances of being the solo points leader during the regular season
or 2015, because controversy robbed him of a chance at Homestead in 2015 as well. if Harvick pits like not a moron and Jr. wins Talladega, then still wins Phoenix, Jr. gets a much better points finish (albeit 4th vs 8th, but he makes it in over MTJ)

    • @bohunt8113
      @bohunt8113 5 ปีที่แล้ว

Dale Jr has never been robbed of a Championship. That is because he never truly was a championship driver. While he was good, he wasn't great.

Richie Osborn agreed, can’t even begin to fathom all that they went through. Just the fact they still wanted to race was amazing all in itself but to show up the next week and win was incredible.

I was and still am a Joey fan. To this day I still believe Matt DIDNT get a harsh enough penalty for what he did at Martinsville. The thing people forget is that while Matt did get turned at Kansas, Joey had been trying to pass cleanly on multiple attempts before hand, each one ending with Matt running him right into the wall with his massive blocks. Joey dumping him at Kansas was a racing incident. Whereas Martinsville was downright atrocious. Matt’s car was in no state to even remotely compete laps at half the pace the leaders were going. That race should have been his last
