As a person who previously never cared much for Russell Brand's style of entertainment, let me just say that now seeing him as an extremely intelligent, well read, deep thinking individual, who I happen to agree with virtually 100%, comes as a massive shock to myself. He absolutely sees things as they actually are, not what the media tell us they are. He has not only pulled back the curtain on the MSM, but on the entire political landscape as well ! Well done Mr. Brand, and for the sake of level-headed people everywhere, PLEASE KEEP IT GOING !!!

I liked Russell for about two weeks, he is a communist. Why? Because the US Revolution and Civil wars were fought against the tyranny of communist Ideas by Briton and the southern Democrat. Russell seems to think that a lie can live happily with truth or what he says "Capitalism and Progressive-ism living together and compromising together in community." He is a leftist that uses some truth to get attention and then he just becomes a blooming Democrat!!!!!!!!!! Truth finds the lie and kills it. Freedom has been compromising with democrats to keep the peace, not any more buddy!!!!!!!!!!

One asterisk, he basically excused *all* of Tucker Carlson’s transgression I’m one comment, as if Tucker has some good heart and intent to solve our words problems. MEANWHILE he’s who he is and the pretend “we just have diff views” is bullsh it and he knows it. That was calculated dishonesty to gain right wing followers on TH-cam. Transparent and gross.

What he said on Gutfeld was on point and the core of what he’s pushing at these days, which is why I like where he’s headed, but still dislike his scummy follower grabs as a strategy cuz he straight up glorified and excused a paid actor who upholds almost ALL of the issues Russel is speaking to the first place. Huge inconsistency in his stuff there.

My daughter passed away from fentanyl poisoning in Nov. Yesterday would have been her 18th Birthday. Getting out of bed is still an everyday challenge.
The respect you and Tucker displayed to all the victims of this epidemic is so very much appreciated.
I miss everything about her. She didn’t deserve this. She was so very loving, caring, sweet and beautiful. I would give anything to have one more day with her.
It is hard enough losing your child, then to have them essentially blamed for their own death, at 17 years old, for doing what most kids do and have done, just adds to the heartbreak.

I'm so sorry for your loss.
I can't imagine the pain you're living through. There's no comparison.
My daughter too almost died but God has other plans.
She was at a get together at a friend's house and when she and her friend wanted to leave because they had work the next day he told them to smell something that would wake them up. She didn't know what it was but as they passed the lil bag & smelling it then got to her, she swears she only held the dusty bag she noticed everyone else froze and dropped, then she started feeling like her fingers and arm then her body became numb then she couldn't breath and passed out. She explained crying how she was watching the paramedics working on her telling her to stay with them she said they sounded as if she was listening under water and was getting farther and farther. Then after a few minutes she heard them loud and clear next to her and opened her eyes, they both yelled we got her back. When she called me from the hospital she was crying so much I couldn't understand.
This fentanyl is a drug used only at pharmaceuticals to add to other drugs mostly in hospitals. This drug is intentionally put out there for exactly what it's doing killing our young. Me sister who works at a 911 call center meets many police and fire dept, paramedics etc. They have parties etc and that's where she hears how the govt has put the drugs out there. The have orders from the higher authorities to do this, FBI is in charge of those sales which we already knew.
In so scared of letting me kids out and pray every single day I wake for God to keep them safe.
We are living in Revelation and God is searching for his people, unfortunately many are choosing the wrong over profit and fear.
I pray for God to give you strength and peace and your child to become your guardian angel

Their prayers are so greatly appreciated! As you know tears flow at will, whenever & wherever, anything can set them off. I’m praying for you, hon, as I have a very good idea what you’re going through & how you’re feeling.

Painting the left as Neoliberal is quite disingenuous. Neoliberalism was idealized by right-wingers to protect their interests. The abolishment of a government were the main ideas of the father of the Koch brothers who saw the government as the only barrier between him and total power and control of markets. Bank owners painted it in the same light. Thatcher and Reagan both conservatives were the one spreading that disease. Claiming these ultra-capitalist puppets are against 'Neoliberalism' is pathetic as they are all financed by the fossil fuels industry such as the Koch brothers hence why they constantly attack environmentalists.

I would quote their insults and say that it's an unnecessary hindrance to cordial debate between friends. Responding to ad hominem attacks with authentic compliments and discussing the goals of our debate would always get me an apology 90% of the time. It works less often now, unfortunately, because the left no longer values logic and debate like they used to, but where it does work, it gets my leftists friends out of their ideological possession by proving to them that they can have a valuable friendship with someone they disagree with on many issues. People are just lonely and adopt ideologies for a sense of belonging and purpose.

Respectful dialogue despite having common ground of rights to freedoms guaranteed by the constitution is indeed exactly what is lacking despite decades of attempting such from the left, people shamed out of being who and what they are. Civil rights shouldn't be an issue in this day and age. I don't defend the media, but the people poplulating the left are indeed being suppressed and oppressed by the right. Make no mistake, legislations are consistently being put in place to enforce that we are a Christian conservative nation, which we are neither - and that those are the only acceptable ways to live publicly. To have a respectful dialogue, how about starting with calling the situation our country is in what it in fact is: oppressive to anyone not religious and/or conservative.

We all want the same thing: to get back to a society where people treat each other with respect, feel free to honestly express themselves, and have their ideas listened to and considered even if not in agreement. In other words freedom of speech and mutual respect in the recognition we all want to live our lives in peace, have equal opportunities to achieve what we work for, and live and let live in regard to other peoples values and choices. Where we differ is how to do that, but I believe the way to do that is just live that way. Everything else is people with power agendas trying to make others feel dependent ion agreeing with one political idea or another, and divide people. It’s really really simple. Just live what you believe and let others live what they believe, and stay out of each others business.

The only problem enters the room when one side “forces” their position upon the other legally, all without open debate, via policymakers slipping it in as pork barrel spending or through whacko activist courts. If personal behavior is not harming another person, then a policy or law it does not make. That goes for prohibition of behavior AND forcing others to accept personal behavior in their own personal decisions when they are morally opposed to. If it does harm or hinder another then we certainly debate and decide in the light of day.

Russell seems to think that a lie can live happily with truth or what he says "Capitalism and Progressive-ism living together and compromising together in community." @billworden6642 ปีที่แล้ว

Russell Brand is finally coming around to the reality that a democratic republic is far more tolerant than a pure democracy. A democratic republic tries to divest power as widely as possible through state and local control or with the people themselves so that different people can pursue happiness in their own way by seeking out a jurisdiction that supports their own deeply held beliefs or even planting their freak flag in a jurisdiction of one. Democrats have been pushing for rules to be made at a federal level that basically allows the mob to rule over the minority with no possibility to escape. A democratic republic creates a competition of ideas and ideals rather than forcing one view on all people. It allows people to respectfully agree to disagree and to shake hands and go their own separate ways rather than being forced into to an existential fight for which idea or culture will be victorious.
The leftists who now control almost every institution in America long ago stopped talking to those who disagree. They don't even allow the other side to speak. Anyone who disagrees with them is cancelled and either banned or shadow banned from social media. No free nation can survive in that kind of environment. Free speech and dialogue are essential to an informed citizenry. A constitutionally protected free press is essential to ensuring transparency. A free press and free and fair elections are almost the only checks and balances that we have to keep a corrupt government honest. Unfortunately, we barely have shreds of a free press or fair elections at this point. The establishment press has been intermarrying and interbreeding with the Washington insider club for so long that they have basically become the propaganda arm for big government Washington. Our elections are no longer transparent. Instead, the government tells us we must trust them and feel almost no need to be accountable to the people when complaints or fraud claims are made.
Now that the major political parties have succeeded in creating mail-in elections on a permanent basis, they can be almost completely unaccountable to the electorate in order to get them to get out to vote. The political party with the best harvesting (or cheating) techniques will win from now on. Democrats got a head start on the mail-in balloting approach which resulted in many never even leaving their basements to meet with the people in their districts. If we thought the corruption was bad before, it will just get worse as time goes on unless the citizenry pops their heads above the fake press and the oppressive social media giants and the fascist government/multinational corporate alliance that now controls politics, politics that now infects every aspect of American life.
